Get some free weights. Get like 5 lbs free weights and work your biceps and triceps every other day. In about 4 to 6 weeks you will notice a true difference. I do about 3 sets of 10 reps and I have started this again about 3 weeks ago and my husband has noticed a difference. The back of the arm fat will go away by working the triceps. If you have no free weights, do reverse pushups. Reverse push up works incredible wonders on the triceps. Look up how to do that work out and see what it does.
Yeah me too, though I gain weight everywhere my toughest areas are arms and belly. In fact this is gross, but I noticed cellulite on my arms before I finally started to lose weight. Now I work out with 1, 5, 10 and 15 lbs dumbells and do numerous exercises mainly focussing on the sexiest of girl arm muscles, the triceps, but also bicep and shoulder. Invest in the dumbells b/c even when you are at your laziest a quick 10 minute arm routine is doable.
what weight would you start with to work your triceps with dumbells? I've been working out my arms and I have noticed some more definition especially with my triceps, but whenever I do the tricep dips it hurts the palm of my hand by my thumb area so I would like to stop doing them.
I started with 5lbs and now am doing 7.5lbs for triceps.
thanks for the tips guys! ill be sure to try them out.. and try my best to be patient :P
If the tricep dip hurts try this ... this is what I do and you wouldn't believe how much better my triceps are!
Tricep Extension
Sit or stand and hold one dumbbell with both hands, elbows bent behind the head to 90 degrees. Straighten the arms, squeezing the triceps.
