How do you get rid of the "shake" effect that comes when you lift up your arm? My mom recently lost about 15 pounds and she has this at the back of her arms. I was wondering what I should help her with when we go to the gym together. We go to the community one so it isn't like I could ask a personal trainer, and it might be a bit embarrassing for her. I know that some of this is skin, but it dangles and she really wants to tone this area up. Are there any good exercises for that? Should she be using a specific machine?

the best way to get rid of the "bat wings" is to build up both the bicep and tricep muscles.  Check out one of the stickied threads at the beginning of the fitness forum and you'll find a link to exrx which has about every exercise there is shown in videos.  I use dumbells and have eliminated just about all of my batwings!  Good luck :)

here's the link

I like dips which you can do right at home and pushups.
