Article: Does exercise work? How to burn fat, not carbs. Is "afterburn" a myth?
I found this article to be thought-provoking. The research reinforces what many on CC already know re: the calories in/calories out method of losing weight.
It also discusses the heart rate (lower than one might expect) at which fat is burned vs. the carbs needed for energy. The article also explores whether "afterburn" (burning calories after a workout) actually exists.
