Your Low Carbohydrate Pantry

Stocking Up on Low Carb Foods

Out with the old, and in with the new! When you change your way of eating, it’s best to have food in your home that supports you in your new endeavor. Ideally, you would give away high carb foods to family, friends, or the local food bank. (Although this may need to be negotiated with other family members!)

Here’s your guide to what to keep, what to toss, and what to buy. We’ll go through the kitchen one area at a time:

Refrigerator and Freezer (produce, meats, perishable foods)

Canned Goods (includes bottled vegetables)

Packaged Foods (goodbye sweetened cereals, hello Flax-O-Meal!)

Condiments

Special Ingredients for Cooking and Baking

Isn’t it nice to know that you can whip up a healthy, low carb meal easily and quickly?
