Do calories work like money in the bank? The other night I had an extra 300 calories so I added them to the next day because it was past 12 midnight. If I take away 300 calories the next day, are my average calories the same?
Answer
Like money in the bank, calories do indeed average out over time. You store extra calories in the form of fat to be spent whenever you can’t get all the calories you need. No one has exactly the same calorie intake every day.
