What is a good butter spread substitute?

I like to put butter on my toast in the morning and I am trying to keep my calories and fat low. Are there any good substitutes?
Answer
Look for the margarines that are lowest in calories and saturated fat, with zero grams of trans fat. Several manufacturers make fat-free and low-fat spreads with 5 to 50 calories per tablespoon. Margarines sold in tubs and squeeze containers are usually the healthiest. Popular brands include Promise, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, Smart Beat, Fleischmann’s, and others.
