Asparagus

Hi all -
I love asparagus! Its best roasted in the oven for about 10-15 minutes at 400.

It is VERY expensive though...

Is the frozen variety as good a diuretic as fresh?

if you drink enough water, you don't need diuretics.

I love asparagus both fresh and frozen.  I don't know for sure but I would think it would be almost the same as fresh.

Asparagus in MN has reached a price of $4.99/Lb.  OMG.

I am in Michigan - and I paid $3.99/lb yesterday. The only reason I bought it is because my husband won on an instant lottery ticke (a whopping 6 dollars) and he gave it to me to cash in - so I didn't feel so bad spending the money on it.

I am going to look into the frozen stuff - it wont be as good - but I  still love it!
