Hi all,
I am 5 ft tall, intially 127 pounds, but have lost 5.4 since beginning using CC about a month ago. I classify myself as lightly active (weight training one day per week for about a half an hour with a trainer, cardio for 30-60 minutes appoximately 4 times per week). I have a fairly active job where I work directly with children and walk around a lot (at my desk, maybe 2 to 3 hours in an 8-9 hour work day). CC estimates that I should consume 1600 calories a day, which I have defintely done for the past month, sometimes going as low as 1300, but sometimes as high as 1550. The problem is that I have recently hit a plateau where I have wavered around the 120-123 weight and can't seem to lose. Haven't changed anything since the initial 5 pound loss. Is there anything additional I should be doing? Is my calorie intake too high? Have I classified my activity level correctly? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Hi alv148,
I'm no expert, but I'd say just stick with it. If you're burning more calories than you're consuming, then physically speaking, you'll have to start losing weight again eventually. Also, have you paid attention to how much water you're drinking? Not drinking enough will cause your body to retain water, so upping your intake might help.
