I ate 12 donuts in one sitting!!! And I'm still alive
Yea. I ate 12 250cal/piece donuts. Entennman devils food crumb donuts to be exact. It was delicious. 3000 cals of sugar and fat. And you know what? that is less than a lb of fat I put on (Seeing as how I already met my RDA for calories today). I will easily burn it off next week with only a 500cal deficit a day. I feel so much better knowing that I can survive eating it, and I feel like never having a donut again.
One time I stumbled comming off of an elevator and impacted my teeth. I spent one night in the ER, over 40 hours of surgeries and over $30,000 in medical bills. Oh, and I lost one of my teeth. Now I have an implant.
DONT RIDE ON ELEVATORS OMGZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
Oh I don't think he was advocating the practice, he was just saying it was not the end of the world like so many people here think it is when they happen to go 50 calories over.
Also, I think most people don't have a wrestlers mindset so its hard understand what he is doing. Most wrestlers don't hate food in fact they love it, but can't eat it. Imagine waking up everyday earlier than everyone else, going into school and running around the pool for an hour before school starts, go through school dead tired while trying to keep your grades up, not being able to eat anything but carrot sticks for lunch while everyone else eats nachos or pizzas, going to practice for another 3 grueling hours after school where it is not uncommon to loose 5 lbs in those 3 hours, go home and eat a salad and then do homework until you pass out. Do that everyday for 5 months and by the end all you want to do is eat something, anything, and a lot of it.
I don't think he is saying its a good idea, just that its not the end of the world, though I also don't think wrestling is really healthy either but that is another topic all together.

oh come on
#41, I can see doing the Krispy Kremes. But effing Entennemans? WTF? No standard? No morals?
i don't think the OP had any purpose whatsoever, except maybe to flaunt his ability to eat sickening amounts of devastatingly unhealthy foods in front of those of us who are trying to do better. probably more effective with people who like donuts, but, whatever.

It's not the wrestling that's unhealthy, the cutting and eating that tends to go along with it is. To make it worse, I really don't think that most of it is necessary. It is possible to train while eating enough, but many coaches don't understand nutrition.
A dozen donuts at one sitting is generally just a bad idea. Whenever I do something like that I end up paying for it with my digestive system or in the more extreme case like I mentioned above.
They have a case at the end of the isle.
Please eat some more donuts, 500 cals is too low.
Entennemans stock holders implore you, buy, buy, buy!
How can there be a purpose to eating 12 donuts in one setting?
well, i meant a purpose in posting, not a purpose in eating. if he had a purpose in eating, it was probably to impress his cool friends.
You'd be doing the economy and small businessmen everywhere a favor if you'd buy from the local bakery. Not to mention the reduction of greenhouse gases from fewer donuts being trucked all over the U.S.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I guess I'm just so appalled at the thought of eating 12 Entenneman Donuts I can't get over it.
i don't even know what entennemans is.
entennemans = fascist donut and pastry makers
conquering the planet with baked & fried goods?
one wrestler at a time?

If there is a fake/nasty/icky version of any baked good, enteman's is it...they just don't taste right, too sweet, too sticky, not sweet enough, Enteman's is always just wrong in taste and not worth the calories imo.
Krispy Kreme cured me of wanting donuts, unless it's just hot off their donut press it is not worth it. With the exception of old fashioneds (theirs are not the best) which I can't eat more than one of.

Dude you pigged out on donuts, you didn't track a wild boar kill it with your bare hands and eat it raw.
Wow I can't believe this vital peice of information just slipped right past me. It's the most significant aspect of the whole post!! Who would eat so many gross grocery-store doughnuts, if I were going to have doughnuts it would definately have to be fresh-made carnival mini doughnuts or at least Timmy Ho's for it to be at all worth it! Mmmmm cinnamon mini doughnuts.....
ok. weighing in as a sports mom.
agree that the kid may have gone overboard, but given the number of calories he may have burned in just a week of practice, it sounds far worse than it is.
my kid could eat well over 6000 calories a day and still lose weight after a week of practice on the football field.
now. posting here, in a weightloss forum, perhaps not very sensitive, but as I said in the 20# hamburger forum, everything is relative.
peace. :)
also: not considered good form to quote people's profiles on the boards. just sayin'.
