I ate like 700calories worth of smarties, so now i can't eat dinner!!

Today i went to the cinema and managed 2 eat 700 calories of smarties and 400 calories of raisons, i've reached my max daily calories 1800 and i haven't had dinner, but i don't want to put on weight, i'm tryin to lose!! Will it ruin everything if i eat like 100 calories and go over my daily allowance, or will i really regret it?

You'll regret it if you skip supper because you'll feel horribly hungry and struggle with sugar cravings.  Best thing to do is to act almost as if nothing had happened... Have a light evening meal... 400 cals or so, plenty of vegetables or salads.  Tomorrow go back to your normal 1800.  A little extra food often perks up your metabolism and can be beneficial.  In total you'll have had 400 cals more than normal which isn't enough to significantly affect your total week.

Next time you go to the cinema, take a healthy snack along with you.  A bag of air-popped pop-corn contains very few calories and takes a while to nibble through.

You could try to burn off some of that sugar with some kind of exercise.  Spend a few minutes on the bike or go for a 20 minute walk.  You won't burn 1100 calories, but it will help.

I did something similar yesterday actually.  I baked brownies and managed to go over my calorie limit before 5 PM.  I've been dieting for a long time and it happens.  When you do this just try your best to do damage control. Let go of your limit and just try to eat a normal, healthy amount for dinner.  Skipping dinner will just make you hungrier and more likely to make poor choices the next day.  Have the same type of dinner you were planning on having before the smarties and raisins and let go of the fact that you went over for the day.  After eating dinner and getting some healthy food in ur system you will prob actually feel better about the snacks you just ate. Try not to worry about it.  You will still lose, just keep on track tomorrow. Maybe a little extra exercise. But from experience.. Dont beat urself up over it. you will be perfectly fine.  Good luck =)

Of course you can eat. One day won't sabotage you weight loss efforts. Have a light, healthy dinner and get back on track tomorrow. One pound= 3500 calories so the worse you could do is atler your weigh loss by a small fraction of a pound.

Definitely eat dinner. I just chalk massive candy indulgences up to weakness and usually it's a mistake I'm not apt to repeat.

But I still eat when I'm hungry. 'Cause your body is telling you you're hungry for a reason, right? Right, 'cause you're hungry and it can't cope with that crazy sugar intake! Lol!

You should eat if you feel hungry, even if you exceeded your daily caloric intake! However, if I eat a lot of sugar at one go, I will feel super full and not hungry until the next day or many hours later.. sigh.

Thanks for your advice, i ate dinner last night and still lost a very little weight! And exersise is the best, its really fun and good for you. i luv it and couldn't live without it, i play loads of different sports and they are all sooooooooo fun!!!!!!!
