I REALLY ATE TOO MUCH (sort of binged) HOW MUCH DAMAGE IS DONE??

Quote  |  Reply

I have been doing sooo well since April 09. I have lost 16 pounds. I started at 178 and I am now 162.

Yesterday I ate a good breakfast and a good lunch BUT when I went home I made salmon and broccoli (harmless right?) but I then ordered 10 pieces of sushi and I then went to McDonalds and ate two hamburgers and fries. I ate ALL of this between 7 and 10pm.

How much damage is done and how can I reverse it??

PLEASE HELP!!!!

That wasn't a binge. Depending on what and how much you ate for breakfast and lunch...maybe you were really hungry. You have to eat 3500 calories extra then maintenance to gain a pound in a day so you are going to be fine. NO DAMAGE IS DONE

I second fooledbyfaith.  However, Id like to add one thing: DO NOT weigh yourself today, or tomorrow.  The sodium in that food is very high- soy sauce, salty burger patties, french fries.  U will prob be bloated for 1-2 days, but just drink lots of water, get in some sweaty workouts, and eat normal, healthy foods like you usually do.  It doesn't sound like it happens consistently, so no harm done :)
