Beef stew with potatoes, carrots, celery, baby green beans, and baby corn. That's .85 pounds of cubed beef in the ingredient list; of course, you can use a pound which would change the nutrition info some, but that's all I had! :-)

Recipe Ingredients for Athene's Crockpot Beef Stew

17/20 pounds beef
3 small potatoes
2 carrots
1 stalk celery
1/2 cup green beans
1 cup baby corn
1/4 cup flour
1 medium onion
3 garlic cloves
2 1/4 cups water

Recipe Directions for Athene's Crockpot Beef Stew

  1. Put beef cubes in crockpot

  2. Sprinkle with flour; stir to coat beef

  3. Cut up potatoes, carrots, celery, baby green bean, baby corn, onion, and garlic and put everything in crockpot

  4. Add water

  5. Add spices and herbs as desired. I used crazy mixed-up salt, crazy mixed-up pepper, a little rosemary, paprika, and oregano. I'd have used bay leaves if I'd had any, too!

  6. Cook on low until done, perhaps 8-9 hours, depending on crockpot.
