Yay - 1st place!

I've been gaining and losing the same few pounds for the past month, and it's starting to wear on me.  I've been traveling a lot for work, and I find it's a lot harder to get excercise and make healthy food choices when you're on the road.
Well I only lost .5 pounds this week and it is a bit discouraging.  However I have been sick with strep and have not worked out at all this week, so I guess it's a loss, not a gain.
No change for me, but I didn't gain!  Hah!

Second week in a row I've lost 1.5 lbs...and the second week in a row that I've increased my calories..Yesterday I had the most I've had since I started 1/2...had 1425...and I skipped a night at the gym...wasn't expecting to have a loss this week but there it was!  Makes a total of 13 lbs gone....Guess i've finally gotten my body out of starvation mode of only eating about 700-800 and burning off 3000 everyday....So, if you're not losing, check to make sure you're eating enough!  It really does work!  Good luck to everyone...Go Team!

Well I am finally over the strep, but my energy level is still down.  I only worked out twice last week and once this week, but I still managed to lose 4 pounds.  The body is a mysterious thing.
Glad you're feeling better heather!  YAY for your loss also.....I worked out 4 times last week and twice so far this week and I gained .50!  Yes, the body is a mysterious thing!

thanks melaniejones...hey and congrats on being one of the week's top losers!  We did really well considering how many of our teammates have dropped out and how many didn't weigh in last week...

So, it looks like the battle will be left to the few of us remaining...

But we were still able to win even though 3 of the 5 top losers were from another team...

Guess it goes to show that high numbers don't always win the race...

Thanks Jem599  I was surprised to see my name in the top losers!  I dont think I'll make it there this week.  So far I am the same weight I was last week, hopefully I will show a loss tomorrow.

Good idea Heather!  I wish weigh in was today cause I'm down 2.5 since Wed!  I think it's a combination of maybe finally breaking though my plateau and a drastic change in my workout routine...Whatever the reason and forever how long it lasts, I am eternally gratefull!

Keep on going team....We CAN lose weight!!!!!!
Heck yes, we can - I've lost 8 or 9 lbs. since the start of this challenge, and 22 lbs. overall since last fall - that puts me 30% of the way to my goal!  I'm really excited now, because I'm just 2 lbs. away from being below 200 lbs. for the first time in 3 years!

I love having this challenge - it's great encouragement, thanks to my slight competitive streak.  I still cheat once a week, but knowing that I have to weigh in on Wednesday keeps me honest (and moving) the rest of the time.  :)
