retrovert, it's ok not to exercise when you're sick! Dont worry about the gain, it could be your body's response to build up stores to fight off illness. I had to cut back on the intensity of my workouts last week because I had a horrible headcold and just trying to breathe was exercise enough! Take care of yourself.
Way to go saboteurs! I am excited because today I measured myuself and I am down 8 inches from all over! Yaay. I didn't lose any weight this week but at least I know that there are results to keep me motivated.
My response to your temptations.
"As for the cupcakes and other items passed our way, have some just fit it into your calorie allowance. We don't need to deprive ourselves of goodies, just adjust for it. I just enjoyed a 340 calorie candy bar but I will lose my 1-2 pounds this week."

sorry guys it totally forgot about wednesday's weigh in. oh well i will enter my weight next wednesday. how are we doing anyway?
How's this week looking for everyone. I don't think I'm going to show much of a loss b/c I had surgery on Friday. I can't exercise... even walking :-( for 2 weeks. I guess I just have to rely on the calorie reduction. I was doing so well too.

I was playing with numbers yesterday (so I may not have everyone's stats if they gave their numbers on the late side) and I came up with our top three:
cherrim and ginanne17 tied for 1st at 6 pounds lost!!
and pomera with 5 pounds lost!!
chocoholic5, iwantsz12, hellochelsea, and themachine all were nipping at their heels with 4 pounds lost each.

I think I'm doing alright this week. The scale showed a two pound loss since wednesday, but that may just be water. Crossing my fingers that I maintain this weight through the week.
I've also been trying to get off my bum and get some physical activity in.

Hey I am down 3.5 pounds and I am menstruating. Could this mean it could be more?
Haven't been able to weigh in yet today (I stayed over at my boyfriend's last night and had no scale access) so I'll have to wait until I get home. I'm feeling fairly positive though.
I got off my bum and went for a walk last night. Anyone else on Team 3 trying to get more walking in to a busy schedule? I need more motivation. :)
