im just looking to loose around 10-15 pounds or just 10kg! :P........tone my body and change the way i eat. i think its better if we do it in a group as its always better loosing weight with someone with the same goal in a positive environment.

Hello swimmin_sunscreen! Good job on the 4 pounds. Lol I'm sure it's a heck of a lot more satisfying to pave your way to a healthy skinny rather than just being naturally tiny.
smspector: you're right. but you see, i see now that my overcheating resulting in a very unhappy tummy, is affecting me in stages. at first, after eating all that cookie dough, it was the egg that i couldn't think of ever eating again. now, its the sugar. just the thought of eating sugar, even at this very moments, i can feel the a lump rising in my throat. i haven't been able to get anything down my throat all day. i've had cookie dough and a SUGAR FREE, key words:sugar free, red bull

Eh, relatively, yes. The work doesn't bother me but I'm terrified of talking to new people..I'm either sporting a mild social phobia or some pretty hardcore shyness. I do like that I'm getting a change of scenery, though.

yeah, pretty excited about my sophomore year. my school building is incredibly easy to get lost in (despite the fact we only have 570 girls), and i can't wait to direct the freshman in the wrong direction or up the wrong staircase, or to the wrong floor (mercy has 5 floors, and a heck of a lot of stairs)
ahhh its just gonna be so great. my electives are awesome too, although one is slightly dangerous
What electives did you pick? I'm still waiting on my schedule to come in the mail, I'm not even sure if I was alotted the electives I initially chose.
My cheat day is over and I'm still at 109! This is very exciting. I had a big chocolate biscotti and a little over a cup of brownie ice cream for dessert in the afternoon. I did walk a lot of it off with my dog so I guess that's why it hasn't shown up on the scale.

actually this year i was given the opportunity to take 4 electives (i don't take any history this year), but instead i chose to fill in two electives with a study hall (im lazy and like to sleep), and my other two electives are psychology and cincinnati history. i wanted psychology so im excited about that, but cincy history was just my backup for culinary fundamentals. o well. with cincy history we have like a gazillion field trips -one of them includes somewhat of a treasure hunt where we individually take the metro busses ALL OVER cincy (and its HUGE, some parts rather dangerous). im excited. :)
at mercy we also have block scheduling. only 4 classes a day
Ah that's sounds pretty awesome...psychology in particular sounds really interesting.
I'm guessing you live closer to the city? Our school's sitting on a mini-swamp in a little suburb/farmland area so there's a bit of a drive to anywhere exciting. The drive to New York alone is about an hour, providing there's no traffic. It's a weird place, there's a bit of everything
yeah i live smack in the middle of cincinnati. im a city girl born and raised. and anything, any store, any place you could possibly need is walking distance

i started focusing on working out early july.... it's almost the end of july...still see no progress -.-
i feel like all my time at the gym and doing extra stuff ( softball, basketball, tennis) is going to waste
beyoonique: i've read on CC and on other sites that exercise such as cardio and sports have little impact on changing how your body looks. however, those types of exercise are still beneficial to how efficiently your body funtions, cardiovascular strength etc.
also, people always lose weight, yet their measurements and fat still stays the same. those people get frustrated because they claim they do plenty of cardio and whatnot. but if you don't weight train when dieting, sure you'll lose weight, but the weight you lose will be muscle, not fat.

ugh. I feel absolutely horrible about my self. I spent this weekend taking my boyfriend to places around here that he's never been too...places like kinkaids(awessome burger place) and on the border. Also, since I'm only a temp employee at work...i don't have keys so if the other people leave, i go with them so I can get back in the office, and they like going to places like braums, jack in the box, taco bell, and so on.
So hard to stay within my calorie limit with a double whammie like that.
