  • cw: 72kg or 160lbs
  • gw:145-150

im just looking to loose around 10-15 pounds or just 10kg! :P........tone my body and change the way i eat. i think its better if  we do it in a group as its always better loosing weight with someone with the same goal in a positive environment.

today is also my last day of my 4 day re-feed. after hitting a plateau i've decided to give zig zagging a try. in zig zag i eat

1700 cal sunday

2100 cal monday

1350 cal tuesday

1700 cal wednesday

2100 cal thursday

1350 cal friday

1700 cal saturday.

that should come out to about .5 -1 pound fat loss per week

i havent really lost anything : ( but honestly i havnt been trying that hard, i havnt gained anything REALLY either, which is wierd cuz i feel like i gained about 6 pounds.. whatever, im still between 110 and 113 when i eat or drink i go way up then like not long after im normalish again its wierd 

well obviously food and liquids have weight. after you consume something, the weight of what you consumed becomes part of your weight. its always best to weigh yourself in the moring before consuming anything to get an accurate guesstimate of what your true weight is.

any asians here?

Hello everyone!  I'm really looking to be as slim and as fit as possible before I go off to college.  As part of an orientation thing, I am doing a week-long backpacking trip before my school begins... that will be great exercise, but I need to keep working out and preparing myself by going to the gym and all that (like I have been for the past month) so I won't get too tired. :D

I can't wait to look my best.  My short term goal is to be at 108 lbs by August 8th, when I have my birthday party! (Although my true birthday isn't until the 13th)

Hi there fayekartabani!  I'm short too... I would love to grow two or three inches... that would be great!  It doesn't help that I'm a rectangle/apple shape so that most of my weight is on my torso... my SHORT torso, so it looks extra bad.  Yuck.  So yay for wanting to lose some of that and get some more confidence!

So... your current weight is 70?  70 what?  Kilograms I hope, not pounds, because that would be very low. >_<

i think fayekartabani means kilograms. that scared me a bit when i first saw it too. i have a tendancy to forget this isn't just a US site, but a UK site as well.

I'm going to a sleepover birthday party in half an hour... eep!  I've left around 450 calories for dinner and dessert there, but I'm afraid I'm going to indulge.  I MUST NOT!  I've gotten through these before, but I just started my period and I'm really craving food... sugary food.... I ate a lot of really fiber-rich foods this morning so hopefully I'll be filled enough. :P

I can do it - I know I can.  And the swimming will be good exercise too!

but we cant let that be an excuse ...  YOU CAN DO IT! but i totaly understand what u mean about your cravings.

well im sik with the flu and have been sleeping for most of the week , which hasnt helped at all .

Well I'm back from the party and I did okay.  I'm actually pretty proud of myself - often I have that all-or-nothing mentality like bingers do, but this time I ate dinner reasonably but allowed myself to give in for a slice of ice cream cake... but NOTHING else!  I'm very happy with that, because there was a huge bag of skittles being passed around and snickerdoodle cookies and soda and candy EVERYWHERE and I held back, even though I'd already 'failed'  by eating that slice of ice cream cake.

Regardless, it was a victory for me, even if I did go over my calories for the day a bit. :)

I was happy when I weighed myself when I got back... I was expecting a much higher number since 1) it was midday, not morning, 2) I'm on my period, and 3) ate a little extra yesterday.  But to my surprise I was 110.2 lbs... which was 0.3 lbs down from where I was last time I weighed in!

Yay!

Oh dear, faye, sick with the flu... that sucks.  I hope you feel better soon.

And I hear you ashhhbabe, we shorties have a hard time of weight loss. >_<  Especially when it's down to those 'last # of pounds' and there's not a ton to lose to get to our goal weight.  Don't give up though... it'll get there eventually!

i know how you all feel about being short. im only 5'2 without shoes :(

and of course, i chose to be friends with all the basketball and volleyball players

its nice to be in the front in pictures and such though ;)

fox: omg i have so much trouble restricting myself at parties. its sooooo hard. i've resorted to carrying my own snacks in my purse cuz i know i can't just not eat.

faye: wow australia. that sounds sooo sweet. id like to trade that in. im tired of cincinnati :/

gosh it SUCKS to be short.

i'm starting to think i'm not gonna lose weight at all by the end of the summer. if not, i'm gonna quit my gym membership -.- what's the point. there's absolutely no difference between me working out there and not working out.

 

my friend told me that if you eat every hour or 2 hours it can help metabollism so i've been doing that. i did that one time a long time ago for a day cuz i just kept getting hungry and the next day, i felt like it totally worked.

so i'm trying to do whatever.

i'm like 5'3 and i only have 2 friends that are shorter than me -.- it's pretty much not cool at all.... i would never date a person that's taller than me, so, i'm kind of having a limited option  Undecided

 

 

and why is it that my friends could eat whatever they want to and still lose weight while people are suggesting that they go on a diet?

*sigh*  Yeah I hover somewhere between 5'1" and 5'2".  I admit, I'd rather be this height than like 6'2", but pretty much anwhere under 5'9" would be my ideal height (5'5" sounds perfect...) but oh well.  Our height is something we can't change so we just have to deal with it. -_-

Don't give up on the gym beyoonique!  Even if the weight isn't coming off it makes your body so much healthier to exercise, and I don't know about you, but I find the 'gym mindset' really inspiring.  If I exercise on my own I might wimp out early, but seeing someone running next to me who has burned 600 calories makes me feel like - hey, if he/she can do that, I can certainly do a little more!

Yeah eating more often is supposed to be helpful for your metabolism, although in my personal experience, I never seem to lose weight unless I'm actually getting hungry because of waiting long times in between meals.  It's odd.  I might eat my normal amount of calories one day, all spread out so I don't get too famished, but I hardly seem to lose on those days, while on the days where I wait hungry hours in between meals I really see a difference on the scale.

Technically, though, that's not how it's supposed to work. xD

Mercy, I actually disagree with you on being the front in pictures thing... I hate it lol!  I always feel like if I could hide my body behind people and just have my face out there, pictures of me would look a lot more attractive.  So being in the front and center is often a little too much for me.  But hey, if all goes well with my weight loss, perhaps I'll feel more confident to be out in the front. :D

Bluesky, you're quite close to my CC 'twin' with your stats.  I'm just about 5'2", and when I started my weight loss journey last November, I was 118.2 lbs.  There have been ups and downs and I definitely haven't been consistent (I've ranged mostly between 108.5 and 114, with my all-time low as 105.4) but currently my weight is 110 lbs and I'm looking to take off that last 5 again!

well yesterday i had an alergic reaction 2 something and my lips swelled up..i didnt go to school either and i pigged out on pasta .. i have been terable but im not letting that interfear with me looosinggg weigh.

tomorrow im of 2 a brand new start :)

iv recently purchesed a book called the gabriel method .. apparently his story has inspired many people all over the world and im going to try it out. hopfuly it helps mee:)

EVERYONEE who is shory has the potential to be thin and peteit..  andd thinking positive does help , dont worry i am a new member aswell and i think sharing my thoughts with you all will help  push me 2 lose weight and hopefuli help you to!

I guess I forgot to mention my height. I'm 5'4.

Does anyone else have emotional eating problems? It drives me crazy! I could lose 5 pounds... and be happy about it.. then pig out becuase I'm freakin happy! I get cravings when I'm sad, mad, happy, bored, etc... Which is pretty much all the time.. UGH.
