This is a challenge for the month of August.  I want to lose weight, Don't you?  So, let's motivate, support and challenge eachother.

It's simple, just post your weight whenever you weigh yourself.  As little, or as often, as you want. Daily, weekly, bi-weekly........don't matter.

I'll start this off!  I'm Tammy, 44 yrs old, mom of 2 and wife of 1!  Started on this journey Oct '07 and still going.  I've been having trouble losing weight lately and have even gained some back.  So I gotta get this in control and get to moving this weight!

I will post my weight tomorrow, Aug 1st.

Woot Woot! My first Challenge! ^__^

My Name is Hazzard and I am 25. I have a Bf who I am really serious about. I have lost weight before but could never keep it off... I just want to get back into the jeans I was in in HS! I just want to feel like the sex kitten my boyfriend thinks I am... I suffer from low self-esteem. T__T I have already lost 9 lbs...

Hi, My name is Danielle, and I'm 22. This is my second time losing weight. I was really active with my last job, but now that I'm a graphic designer=desk job, some weight crept back on. This time I want to make good habits last, like eating right, and working out! ^__^

I'm game!! I weigh myself everyday but only count my weigh in on saturdays so I'll put my start weight in tomorrow. But I was 157.2 this morning so assuming I'm the same or close I'll list my goal weight. It may need to be adjusting depending on tomorrows results.

SW (for the challenge): 156 lbs

GW (for the challenge): 153.2 lbs

I'm an everyday weigher!  It keeps me honest. hahaha  I know it goes up and down, but this is something I've done since Oct '07 and it's not gonna change now. lol 

If anyone would like to "chat" some, Im always here.  If you want suggestions, need to vent, or whatever you'd like, feel free!

I've decided since Fridays are my "official" weigh ins, I'll go ahead and post it now.

GW:  180  (by Aug 31st)

My ultimate goal is 160 lbs, then decide if I want to go further.

 I can't tell ya how many times I've lost weight in my life!  Although this is the 2nd time for losing the same weight!  This time though is so much slower and harder!  Age, I think, has alot to do with it.

 I'm 5'6" and at 25 I know I weighed 125 lbs and felt great!  I wish I could turn back the time.  I know about wanting to keep the curves.  That's why I'm not going down too low myself.

Good job on losing weight! 

I'm in, yes summer is almost over.  July, I ended up .2lbs heavier than when i started.  I also weigh everyday and sometimes i don't like the flucations. I am 50 yrs old and would like to lose 130 as my GW by Nov so I'm hoping for at least 3 lbs this month. totally doable if I could only stick with it. tommorow is a wedding so already i know my calories will be off.

My calorie count is set at 1300 which i find really low but I'll stick with it.

My starting weight - July 31 is 144.4 lbs.

I'll post every week on Friday.

Just a newbie but Ill go for it 47 218 pounds suffered a broken hip in october 2008

I was really thin last year... and then I endured a lot of stress, forgot about myself, and ended up putting on about 30 pounds. I'm down a few, but, not enough to notice.
I'm 17, 5'6.. teetering around 145 right now. I'd really like to lose about ten pounds this month, so that I can try and squeeze back into all my favourite pants.

I'll weigh in every Wednesday... just because I tend to be very good during the week... I don't want to see any water weight gain from weekends!

Let's do it! My husband and I are working together to get in shape. We weigh in on Wednesday and Sunday ... We have a very strict diet, that's just what works for us. Along with working out 2 hours a day my husband and I hike on his days off. We have found if we list a goal weight it just ends up jinxing us so we are just gonna do the best we can. I listed my husbands weight for kicks and giggles ... this week we are on vacation so if we can mainain that would be super!

August 1 - 149 (husband @ 196)

August 10 - 145 (husband @ 194) 

August 17 - 143 (husband @ 192)

Just joined up. I'm 43 around 320 - 330. Will weigh in officially at the Y Monday when I start my counter up. Wanting to lose 100 and a challenge is a great way to start off. Will start up a pretty limited on the food choices I make until I get enough ideas on this site to mix it up. I just tend to eat pretty plain, so no wild recipe choices for me.

Hi everyone, I'm Amber and this is my first callenge as well.  I'm 24 and 5 2'.  My bf and I expect to get married sometime next year and I am determined to drop this weight before running down that aisle!

This is my second time to get serious about losing weight and I am hoping this will be the last time I fall off the wagon.  The last time I went from 180 to 137, since then I've gained it all back and then some... I can definitely feel and see it and don't want to live like this anymore!

If it's okay, I'd like to join in too. I'm 39 and 5'6". I started on CC in OCt 08 at 225 and lost 55 pounds so far. I have 15 pounds left to go to get to a normal BMI...though I'm not sure what my goal weight really is. I was thinking about 145 (Have that 10 pounds to play with) but hearing you guys talk about 125 for a person 5'6"...well, I guess I will just have to see what happens when I get thinner...
