I'll bite.  I'm 210 lbs now.  Lost 13 lbs between April 16th and May 30th and not a single one since.  Need more motivation!!!

I want to lose 25 lbs by Christmas, but if I make 30, that'd be neat too. :) I too, will check in tomorrow. I'm excited! :)

I'm going to post my current weight right now since it's the 25th (EST).

I'm currently 141. So I'd like to lose 25 pounds by Christmas. That would be the absolute best Christmas present ever!

But I have to warn you, I can't do any weighing in with exact numbers or anything.  I'm currently studying abroad in Australia and I don't have any access to a scale...which is really unfortunate b/c I'm seeing some results already from starting CC 2 weeks ago, but it would be nice to get some encouragement from the exact numbersSmile.  Oh well.  But I'll keep everyone posted with clothes fitting, etc.  and maybe if I can find a cheap tape measure I'll get it.

Right now I'm...I think...168ish.  I really would love to lose 30 lbs by Christmas.  My ultimate goal is more, but for now that would be absolutely amazing.

Wow that's pretty much my goal too. I'm currently 74kg (164pounds) looking to be 60kg (132 pounds) by the end of the year. I started off with CC two weeks agom but I admittedly havent seen any change yet... Frown

August 25        - 177.2
September 1    - 176.8 [TOTM!]
September 8    - 169.8 [OMGEEEEE!]
September 15  - 169.0 [Meh...not bad]
September 22  - 172.6 [=S oh wow...]

Goal for this week:: 2 lbs (170.6)

I avoid setting goals like the plague so I wont set a specific number but I would like to lose around that amount!

I am in the process of refeeding right now, with increasing my calories I feel bloated and cranky so if my posts reflect that sorry XD

Hi Everyone, I want to join in too.. Started CC today. Started tracking my diet and activities. My Goal is 155lb and current weight is 175lb want to loose atleast 20lb's.

I'm a day late...I hope that's ok....! I desperately need to lose 30 by Christmas!! LET'S DO IT!!! Cool

I just ran across this today...one day late but lucky for me, I started CC yesterday and weighed in at that time. I am at 192 depressing pounds and would love love love to lose 30 by christmas. What a wonderful gift for myself that would be. Lets get going!!!Laughing

Hi everyone! I threw a big party for my husband about two weeks ago, and I've gained six pounds from all the left over junk food! Before that I was down 19 pounds from my starting weight, so I've definitely fallen off the turnip truck. I'm hoping to reach 135 pounds by Christmas, and right now I'm at 161lbs.

Back to the gym!

I want to join in.  I'm doing the 15 by Halloween, too, but can do both.  15 before Halloween, 15 after.  Sounds doable.  My goal is to be at 155 or so by the end of the year.  30 pounds would get me there with some to spare. 

Started CC on 8/4/08 at 186.5

I'm a day late, but I'll join in!  I wanted to get to 200 or less by the end of the year.. so this is perfect!

My weigh ins have typically been on Tuesdays, but maybe I will switch them forward a day so I can participate.  Goooo team!

Current weight (as of this morning): 227.5

9/1- 224.5 (Woohoo!)

9/8- 224 as of this morning.  I was 223 Saturday morning, but then Saturday night was BAAAD.  I'm still recovering, I think. 

9/15- 221.5  How I managed that after the week I've had I have no idea...

9/22- 223.5  Up from 221.5 on Saturday, and I had a really really bad weekend.  And next week is TTOTM.  I'm determined that next week will be better once all the salt and extra water weight is out of my system. 

9/29- 219.5

10/6- 220- I had my first session in months with my trainer and he kicked my ass!  I was so sore I could barely walk the rest of the week, let alone work out.  I think that's what did me in. 

10/13- 221- So I think I'm oficially in a weight rut.  Either that, or Mondays are just a bad representation of how I'm doing because they're right after the weekend.  I was at 219.5 again last Friday, but then I went away for the weekend so there was a fair amount of eating out.  I tried to be good, but you never can be too sure... The prospect of losing my 20lbs by New Years is seeming dimmer and dimmer though. :(

10/20- 219- Woohoo!  TTOTM is coming up this week too, so maybe it'll mean another big drop next week?

10/27- 217.5.  Steady loss again, thank goodness.  And this is up from 216 that I was at the end of last week (could be the slice and a half of pizza I had last night?). 

11/10- 214.5.  Couldn't get the edit to work last week, but I was 216 last Monday.

11/17- 213.5

11/24- 212.5

12/1- 213.5  No thanks to Thanksgiving... though at least it was only 1 lb, I thought it would be WAY more... I was at 211.5 on Wednesday.

12/8- 214

12/15- 211.5  I think I'm really only doing this for myself at this point.. doesn't seem like anyone else is paying attention to this thread anymore?  Ah well, at least it's another way that I can track my progress...

Keep away from the weighing scales, thats not important. Start off by finding some clothes that are a tight fit eg T-shirt, the number of holes on your belt you need to tighten your jeans. That's your starting point.

Next, make a plan of the next 5 days. Eg what meals you will eat, what exercises you will do. It's important to write down all the food you ate during the day and compare it to your plan at the end of the day. If you keep track of what you eat, you will be more conscious of what you eat.

The most important part is to be active. Whether its doing exercise in a gym, at home, going for a brisk walk. You need to do 30min - 45mins everyday. You can increase this every 4 weeks.

By planning your days in blocks of 5, you will be more motivated to follow your plan and less likely to lose track.

Monitor your progress by trying on those tight clothes and hopefully they won't be so tight on you by Christmas.
