Do not be discouraged!!!!

---I am fast approaching 55 and want to be 30-40lbs lighter!!!!

I find that when I work out a lot ,I also lose wt slower--but it will come off----we all have to be patient---very hard to do----I am drinking lots of water

I agree.  Don't be too discouraged.  You could just be retaining water, or it very well may be muscle which rocks!  You might want to track your measurements for a few weeks along with your weight.  You might find that you're losing inches faster than pounds which is definitely something to be excited about!  :)

Just wanted to remind you all that tomorrow (Friday) is weigh-in day!  Please create a new post instead of editing your old one.  It makes it a lot easier for me to update our map and spreadsheet.

Friday! woo hoo.
Well, for me in NZ anyway, sorry i'm a little fast.
I don't know what to put in as my weight...
I weighed myself on my sisters scales two days ago and I was 66.4kg(146lbs).... then i weighed myself today and i was 64kg!(140lbs)

I would love to say i've miraculously lost 6 pounds in two days from my week or working out and eating right!... But i just don't know if thats possible.
I KNOW my scales are untrustworthy, but i stepped on and off 4-5 times and it still said 64!
:( I don't know.
Maybe i'll go with 65... Thats still almost 3 pounds dropped since two days ago, thats easier to imagine then SIX pounds!
Alrighty, so, here it is:

Don't worry about being a little fast - I expected you to be first.  After all, you are on the other side of the International Date Line.  Congrats on your weightloss for the week.  I hope your calf muscle is healing or has healed by now.  You sounded so sad in your injured post a few days ago!  You were so worried about a loss for the week and look at you now!  Down 1.5kg is awesome!  Hopefully I'll have a big loss to report tomorrow.  I had a fairly salty meal for dinner earlier, so we'll see.

Salty water weight is a pain!

I'm so happy my leg healed so fast! the next day it was fine, but i took that day off and now im back on track with working out and its fine!
But i am taking it slightly easier.
(No more biking for more then an hour a day, at least not until i'm much fitter)
Well, I have been trying soooo hard.  Exercising every day and really eating well.  I may be a little low in calories, averaging about 1000, but I'm actually full and comfortable and am eating really nutritious foods.

The bad news is that I stayed the same this week.  The first 8 pounds flew off, and now I'm at a standstill.  So frustrating!  Makes you want to give up and eat whatever.

Am I the only one here who gained weight after a hysterectomy?  I had mine in December, and gained 25 pounds within a couple months.  Now I can't seem to get it off.

Anyway, I'm reporting my weight at 156.

I can't believe that I weighed in at 162 this morning. I am so excited! The scary thing is that I'm going out of town for the weekend.... I really hope that doesn't ruing everything, but I do have a plan for keeping myself in check. Hope I can be disciplined and stick with it.

I have also been power walking 4miles/day. I have to force myself to get out, but then am happy i did it.

I am so excited because I did not lose any weight last week, but this week I've lost 3lbs.  I can not believe it!  I've been trying to lost 10lbs for the past 1yr with no success, but with CC I've been able to lose the weight.  When I joined CC, I weighed 149.  I;ve acutuallly lost the 10lbs in 2months.  Thanks for the support.

Although my data show a slight loss overall, I've basically platued for a few weeks. Its mostly because I've been eating out so much lately. And this was my last week at work before I go back to college, so my co-workers have been having cake and taking me out to lunch! Which was very fun, but difficult on my weight loss! I head back to school tomorrow, so hopefully by next week I'll be able to report more of a loss!
