i just had dinner and I'm not completley satisfied. I know I'm probably full, I'm just use to eating more and I'm craving sweets. I feel like if I allow myself something sweet then it may trigger a binge. I've been doing good all day. Does anyone have any tips?

I like to play games on Facebook. Especially Cafe World. I'm addicted to it, and once I play it, I couldn't leave the computer if I tried.

Other than that I read or I call a friend or I go for a jog. Or drink a loooot of water.

I hope that helped. (:

i have a thing now, where if i want to binge, i know it's purely out of boredom, so i make myself do something where i actually leave the house

here is a list of things i like to do

1) shopping! i love especially going to shoe stores and trying on shoes... i dont always buy stuff.. infact i hardly ever do because i'm saving up for when i reach GW.. it's just fun for me to go out, try on outfits and see what's out there... see what's on sale

2)go to the movies... dodge the snack bar..maybe grab a lollipop or a diet coke

3) go to a coffee shop and just sit with my laptop and people watch, maybe even strike up conversation [so much more fulfilling than anything in the fridge is]... just be careful to stick with low-cal beverages and NO CAKES [this one actually might be dangerous if you're craving sweets, maybe avoid it]

4) go for a work out or go to the YMCA and see if they have any drop in classes like a dance class  or something fun like that

5) fill your days with activities that you must make a commitment to do regularly so that you can't sneak out  of it, like sign up to volunteer, or get a very small part time job if you have the time

6)call up a friend and go for a walk

7)play games, computer games, etc...

8)grab a camera and go take pictures of your city

9)take an adult education course

10)cook or bake something that is totally healthy and give it as a gift to someone

11) clean your house top to bottom, scrub your floors, clean your windows, all the little corners you don't usually get to [this one will burn tons of calories too]

12) put on some music and dance like a mad man around your house.

13) take a shower and give yourself a spa treatment, facial, mani - pedi

14) dress yourself up for a night out on the town, either with friends or ask a gentleman or lady out for a date.. or go speed dating

i could probably think of more...

Thanks you guys, they were all great ideas. I can't wait until it is tomorrow and feel the excitement that I didn't give into this binge.

Maybe it is my cupcake picture that is making me crave sweets lol

it cld also be your sugar levels - have some slow release foods - snack on soy beans or sugar snap peas or carrot if its the munchies!

Everyone has some really great ideas. Hot beverages really help me too. They make you feel fuller. Either tea or coffee (caffeine free if you want at night) but I put a little splenda too which helps my sugar craving. I'm usually pretty satisfied after it too! And yes, finding something else to do is very important. I think alot of us binge out of boredom.
