is anyone else getting tons of snow?  my car is almost buried (okay, slight exaggerration) and i have to go out in about an hour and a half.  i HATE shovelling, but it's past the point of driving through it.  if i go out and shovel now, there could be three more inches by the time i have to leave, but if i wait, it's going to be more work and i'm going to get all sweaty before my meeting.

i need to move south.

Yeah we've gotten our share here in Green Bay. The worst part for me is that I have to park on the road at work so I always get plowed in, ugh 4 more months of this!

We're supposed to get our first snow this weekend.

I suppose this would be the problem with living in more northern latitudes (that is to say, one of the problems with being Canadian)

damn. that is a big pile of snow suck, Pg.

we had ever such a light dusting the week before thanksgiving

Yep, move south...its 76 degrees here with a nice breeze and barely a cloud in the sky.

 *jealous*

Loads of snow (none of it good for slaughtering snowmen), sub zero temps, and the roar of a snow blowing dragons echo the ear for what seems like an eternity.

Even the dogs of doom are hating it.

Timing, most difficult, sorry pg.

Just outside my office: The caress of a cool breeze sparring, at intervals, with the bake of the sun.

We rarely get enough snow around here to warrent shoveling.  Today it's clear skys but cold for us, about 28 f.

Flurries today. :)

if I stand close to the wood stove I can almost imagine such a battle

divine intervention!!  i looked out the window and what should i see?  but two tiny (not really) men, unloading two giant snowblowers from a pick-up truck!!  $20 later, i am free ;)

unfortunately, it's still falling, so i may come home tonight to the same problem again.

bagga, your dogs don't like it?  mine was beside herself with excitement (still is, i assume; i haven't seen her in an hour).  i trudged about 200m down the trail, then turned around and trudged home (it's knee deep, okay?).  you'da thought she had wings.  seriously, looking at her tracks, it was like she barely touched the snow.

Here in PA we are maybe getting some this weekend.... i wish i was buried.. i love it. Come February though.. i will loath it..

Snow is the dirtiest four letter word in the english dictionary. I hate the word. I hate the thought of the word. I even hate more the actual stuff. I hate the cold. I hate living in a cold state. I just came back from FL on vacation and I so want to move there RIGHT NOW. I never want to see another snow flake again live and in person, but I will for the next several years.

BLECH!

aw.  i hate shovelling, but i love snow.  and here's what people who live in warm places don't get: it's warmer when it's snowing - like, by a lot.  this weekend is going to be awesome, because the snow machines will go out early tomorrow and make me nice, packed trails through the woods!  and it will be so beautiful and white ;)

yeah, the only thing i need to make winter perfect is two little (not really) men with snowblowers.  and $20.

OMG!!!!!!! PG i am totally printing that statement out "It's warmer when it's snowing"

NO ONE ... I REPEAT NO ONE beleives me when I say that...

It could be snowing outside and I could be in boots and shorts and a tank top and be perfectly fine... not cold at all.

It is soooooo much colder when its not snowing in the winter...

There has got to some joke I can throw in here about snowballs and snowmen but I got nothing.  Other than that I love snow and I wish we would get some.

Well the reason why people in warm climates don't understand that it is warmer while it's snowing is because they don't have to deal with any wet cold stuff at all. Why would they care to know that? I've experienced it and I DON'T care to know it. I wish I had never experienced it, which means I'd be warm all year.
