Prancer...Miniture Stallion... (Liked to Prance, as a baby, in front of his Mom and Aunt!)

Merlin... Dark striped cat

'Atty-Atty-oo-by-or'... Very Large Gold Fish... was only 17 cents, but lived for years... and GREW! Odd way of saying 'fatty-fatty-2-by-4'... polite-r? No offense intended here, of course! He was a very loved fish- but a real surprise in size!

Romeo... Shetland Pony who kept going to the neighbors pasture to whinny at their mares.

Miss Mary... for a very bossy Dairy Goat... after a Boss Lady we knew :-)

Old Hickory... Big, Red, Blood Hound/Red Bone Hound mix

I always wait to see my pets personality's and then I name them.

Althougth, I have one pre-planned name, I want a chihuahua and I want to name it after a mexican food. I'm thinking either Gordito or Menudo. =D

Love a lot of those! I've used Butch as well for a tough looking cat, who is really gentle... I like opposites sometimes... like 'Blacky' for a white horse, Blondy for a black one, lol.

I'm gonna' be stuck thinking of names all day! This has been fun!

Sir Tomas was a tuxedo-style black and white cat, with a moustache...

Ankle-high and Fish Bait were two names for a very small stray dog we came to love

Charley was a FAVORITE grey-striped cats' name, but we retired it as his!

Junk Yard Dog was a small and grouchy! Bream fish

Smiling Jack was a Jack fish.... He was predatory, though small...

Tarantula, or Tranch, or Ugly was a ugly but very special cat

Purina was my first cat... at 2, I thought it was the name of a ballerina!

Bum was a disappointing and lazy white Persion... Mom wanted kittens, he said nope!

My last three cats were Peach (guess what color he was), Axl, and Thorn.  My last dog was Slash because I had Axl at the time and Slash was a cockapoddle with black curly hair, seemed to fit.

I have already named my next cat.... Battlecat.  My next dog... Billy Pilgrim.

I had a cat named Random because she was just a random pick out of the litter.  I had a dog named Isis.  My current dog's is name Jofa (after a Swedish hockey manufacturer).  We (my husband and I) will be getting another dog soon that we will name Koho and one named Sherwood.  All after Hockey manufacturers.  If you can't tell my husband is a hockey nut.

I have two dogs now, Archer and Nurji (her name is a take off the word 'energy') and people always ask how I named them.

I love the name Mufasa I think it would suit a cat prefectly, but i won't have one ever again, so that sucks
