B-52 crash off Guam

I know the pilot on this Air Force plane... his status and rest of the crew is unknown.  :(  His poor wife - they've only been married a couple of years, too.    It's very scary and we are all just waiting to hear something. 

I'll say a prayer for him, his colleagues, his family and friends.

My cousin is a Nav in a B-52 and my father was a Pilot in an F-4 Phantom II...  I hope they find your friend and the other men on the plane... Its a tragedy to lose people at such a young age.

I will say a prayer for everyone involved!

for whatever it's worth, I sent up a prayer for them and their families today

I am currently with my husband stationed here on Guam.  We are deeply saddened by this and awaiting more information and praying it is good.  This hits incredibly close to home!!  They are all in our prayers.

Thanks for everyone's kind words.  It is not looking good.  So far only 2 people found and they did not survive.  Neither of the 2 found was my friend.   There is still hope, but it gets less and less as more time goes by.

Update:  the AF has confirmed no survivors from this crash, and they have released the names of every one on the flight.  However, according to his wife, they still haven't found 4 of the bodies.  That makes it even worse, thinking about him out there...

This really sucks. 

Thanks.  I want make some phone calls, but I am holding together OK right now.  I'm at work.  If I actually talk to anyone I think I will lose it.  So I guess I will wait till I get off.
