B-day weekend... should I just give in???

Quote  |  Reply

It's my birthday tomorrow... and that means between Friday and Sunday there's going to be lots of drinks going around and restuarants visited.  There's some left over little caesar's pizza in the fridge (YUM!) and I'm dying to have some but it will put me outside of my cals (200 something a slice).  Last weekend I had a major slip up but overall my weight's stayed the same.  Should I just indulge this weekend (and when I get home with the pizza)?? I don't know what to do! AHHHHYell

Heyyy! Happy Birthday! My birthday is tomorrow too!!

I'm planning on indulging (read: not counting at all) for one day (my actual birthday) and trying to stay on track for the rest of the weekend, if that helps.

Hell yeah. It's your birthday. My birthday was on the weekend and I went crazy on Saturday so I didn't feel like doing much on Sunday. I tried to maintain on Friday. When Monday rolled around I was back on the horse. This is a lifelong long change we are doing so if you want to indulge a few days of the year I say go ahead and have some fun.

Eat what you want just try to keep yourself flushed out by getting a normal amount of fiber and water.  This will help keep some of the sweets, pizza, alcohol from sitting in your system too long.  ENJOY!

I agree with Bildo, this is a life long practice, enjoy your birthday.  I bet if you don't go into it without the guilt, you'll eat/drink less than you would if you put yourself on a big guilt trip,  HSealedappy Birthday!

enjoy it you only have one birthday a year. just monday get right back to the normal routine.

Happy Birthday!  I say enjoy your day.  There's plenty of days to go back to your dieting routine.
