Sorry to hear about the frustrating us, NYC girl. Please dont lose heart.Sometimes its hard to get an accurate date, and a heartbeat when they are very young.

I dont know what a bicornal uterus is, but I wish you all the best.

Let us know what happens!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you, NYC!

Thanks guys, hoping for the best. Just got more blood work done today to check the HCG and progesterone levels. They were very good this past week so hopefully they continue to stay up.

How is everyone else feeling. I feel 100% normal and fine. But my sister and Mom didn't suffer too much from any symptoms so I am hoping it's normal.

Is everyone still working out? Making any changes to routine or sticking with it?

How is everyone? I need updates ;-)

I called my OBGYN to set up my first appointment with them, and they sent me 3-4 pages of paperwork to fill out before I get there.  I thought that was just crazy, and I don't even know how to answer some of the questions!

I am sleeping better, but my breasts are killing me, especially at night when I'm falling asleep.  Also lower back pains the longer I stay on my feet, but thats to be expected.  Hubby is being supportive and not wanting me to do stuff, I wonder how long that will last?  He puts his hand on my lower belly and asks how the little one is doing.  I tell him its a 1/4 of an inch big and I have no idea how its doing, still cute of him.

As for the exercise, I'm walking around the block a bit more than normal, but not at some record breaking pace just strolling.  Hubby comes with me, which is nice becuase its just me and him and we talk about everything thats coming up in the future.  I joined a swimming class a few weeks ago and it starts next monday, so I'm super excited for that to start.  I signed up before we knew we were preggo and my MIL is going with me so that could be interesting.

Also, any one apprehensive about telling there boss?  I work in a Dr.s office and there's only 3 of us, so when I go there will be my co-worker and the Dr.  I'm not sure how that's going to go.  And becuase there are less then 15 employees he doesn't have to follow the FMLA laws, so who knows what will happen.

So that's what going on with me so far.  How about everyone else?

First apptment with OBGYN in an hour from now. Hardly slept all night. Nervous as hell, I hope all is well and the baby is growing big and healthy.

Fingers toes and everything else crossed.

Will update when I get back!

I'm still waiting to hear back from midwives... it's hard to get one, apparantly.

I gained 1 pound, I think all of it in my boobs :(  They are already big enough!  I guess that's not too bad, seeing as I did a lot of eating out this weekend, including a 12 course chinese banquet.   This is my first weight gain, and I'm going to try to keep it at that for another good chunk of time. I've been keeping up my 3x week weight lifting routine (I just started NROLFW a few weeks ago) and running 5K once or twice a week.

No nausea yet!  I hope it stays away!

lsami, I hope your appt goes well.  do you get an US at this stage?

Just got back. They did an u/s and all was fine. Lil bean wriggling around like crazy, good heartbeat, size right on target.

Flybee- only 1 lb? That could be water weight! Dont stress it. On a normal basis, my weight fluctuates by 2-4 lb for no apparent reason.

I want to keep my weight gain down, but my appetite has just been insane! Doc said that weight gain fluctuates- for some its early, for others its late, some gain it gradually and others in spurts.

Gonna focus on staying active and healthy and getting enough fiber, protein and calcium.

I'm not worried about gaining a pound... My weight never fluctuates, though, so it's probably a real pound. You're supposed to gain a little weight (2-4lbs) in the first trimester, though, so it's ok.

I am ravenous all the time too.  I'm just getting used to that hungry feeling.

Hi ladies, I want to join your group!  I just found out from doc that I'm pregnant, and the approx due date is May 23.  My first US will be October 7, and the wait will kill me!

I was "infertile", and supposed to have a laparoscopy today to clear out the old fallopian tubes, but suprise! The hospital called and told me it's a no go cause I'm preggo!

I'm excited that there's a group where we can share our stories. My boobs hurt when I run.  :)

Congratulations foxylady_st, what a great story!! We cannot wait to share your pregnancy with you!

Congrats lsami, that must be a huge relief to have heard the heartbeat! Did you get any pictures to take home?

I must be pregnant for sure, becaue thepast 3 days I have felt horrible. Tired as heck, nauseous, eating total garbage. I felt GREAT until my u/s on Thursday and then boom now that I am all nervous I get pregnancy symptoms?! Sore boobs started today too ... Also, I just started a new job. Imagine my stress now having to them them I am preggo. I am going to try to hide it as long as possible!!

2nd u/s is on Thursday, say prayers for us if you can, I really want this one to work out!

Good, nyc!  That's a good sign!  The feeling like crap sucks, but they all say that it just means the body is working like it's supposed to in preparation for the new one.

My first OB appt is tomorrow.  I'm really hoping I'm far enough along for them to either get a decent look or maybe a heartbeat.  I need something to tell me this is real.

I'll update as soon as I get home tomorrow night.

I am glad you are finally having symptoms NYCgirl! Thats very reassuring.

Peaches, all the best for your OB appointment tomorrow! Fingers crossed.

Saying a little prayer for both of you!

I've been spotting since Friday. Nothing major but I'm going in to get my HCG levels checked tomorrow am and hopefully hear results Thursday.

I don't think I'm miscarrying because my symptoms are increasing daily. Boobs hurt, left one more than right. I still have no appetite and when I do eat I feel sick. I'm still exhausted all the time. I have an annoying headache I thought might be due to not eating enough but it just got worse when I did eat. I've gained 2lbs. It must be water weight because I know I'm not eating enough to gain anything else.

And oh my lord!! I'm so b!tchy!! I swear I'm going to go on a homicidal rampage!  Heh, except I'm too tired, lol. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with work right now. I'm part time and only required to work 3 days a month and I've already got them in for September.

Good luck to everyone!

I have a raging headache too. I was thinking it's the lack of caffeine ... ?!

Peaches, I cannot wait to hear the news from the docs. I am thinking of you!

nycgirl, I agree, your symptoms are a good thing! i'm exhausted, but suuuuuper  happy to be pregnant, and feeling my symptoms.

I'm excited for you peaches! i wish my first appt was tomorrow.

I got my hcg levels taken again today and i'll get the results tomorrow. because of partial tubal blocking, the docs just confirming it's not ectopic, and everything is going well.

jabud, spotting is normal, it'sgood ur checking it out just in case tho.

BTW, has everyone cut out caffeine? I'm still drinking my half a cup in the morning...

foxy, I'm allowing myself one cup a day.  Everything I've read says that's not an excessive amount.

my name is julie. im 6 weeks 4 days pregnant. i found this website a couple days ago and its great! it helpls me keep track of my caloric intake...which isnt as much as it could be with morning sickness! the first few weeks i couldnt shove enough in my mouth! now im nauseus all the time. its like an everlating hangover, haha.

my first dr appointment isnt until oct 7th but from the calculators online my due date should be may 17, 2010

ive cut out almost all caffine. i had a half a cup the other night, i was feeling horrible and it helped. and ill have tea when we go to someones house for dinner. but i switched to decafe sweet tea.

everyone in our lives knows im pregnant and did know pretty early. my husband an i found out at 3.5 weeks that i was pregnant. my hormone levels must have been pretty high for it to show up on an hpt that early. so we figured even if something did happen i would have to tell my work, family and friends anyway. we started telling people at 4 weeks.

i grew a cup size by weeks 5 and cant button my jeans now. i think its mostly a comfort thing with the pants. but everything seems to be tight already. my starting weight and height was 153, 5' 4", so pretty average. ive gained 2 lbs which is also pretty normal. anyone else experiencing this earlier then expected?

Hey all!

I had my first OB appointment today.  All is well!  I got a sonogram pic (it's in my pics and also now in my journal).    Looks like I'm 9 weeks along and my due date is April 24th, 2010.  We could see the little heartbeat and the doc said all looks good.

My nausea is still going strong, but it's starting to ease up just a bit and seems to be worse at night now.  Go figure  :p
