Alfie says:

"I didn’t think about how we would afford it. I don’t really get pocket money. My dad sometimes gives me £10.”

Wow. Just...wow.

that is really freaky, i would have been thrown off by just looking at his face...

critter - Wow is right!

brownsug - I was thrown off by his face! haha  I just can't even believe that little boy has sex!  So bizarro and sad/unfortunate.  I can't imagine being a parent at 13!

Wow.

And ew.

That is the creepiest family photo...ever.

Wow ! Now Alfie will have someone to play "Playstation" with soon ! When Alfie is 31 his daughter will be 18...but theoretically, he could be a grandfather by the time he is 26 if she has a child when SHE is 13. Another question....why would Alfie be sleeping over in the same bed as some girl at his age? Good grief !

how on this planet is he 13 years old? it looks like she diddled her babysitting charge!

Isn't The Sun the UK equivalent to The National Enquirer?

I don't know?  I was looking on the Bobby Bones show website and it was on there.  If it is an Enquirer type.... sorry!

Oh, I wasn't saying the story is untrue or anything like that.  I just couldn't remember if The Sun was a tabloid

Here's the Telegraph article.  Here it is on Yahoo.  Here's an Aussie link about the story.  Lots of other sources back up the story so I imagine it's legit.

This is pretty disturbing.

Wow he looks like such a baby, but then at 13 he still is a baby.  Then again Loretta Lynn started having babies at age 14.  Not defending it, but it seems like it's more socially acceptable for the girl to be younger than the boy.

"Sex education isn't working" my ass.  More like it was non-existant.  I knew what the hell a condom was when I was 11.

Anyway, still creepy.  I think it's made creepier by the fact that parts of him haven't technically started puberty- most obviously his face or voice.  But other parts obviously have.  Poor kid.

Oh great! Another cost to the UK tax payer. "We'll be good parents" Yeh, sure & bleed the rest of us dry. Gah! & oh what a suprise - rented council property & jobless dad with a family all on benifits.

Why would a 15 year old girl be going out with a 12/13 year old boy?? If it was a 15 year old boy getting a 12/13 year old girl thats still icky, but at 15 I had no time for little boys. & what happens when she turns 16 & he's 13/14 & they're having sex? Will SHE be charged with rape as they would if the sexs/ages were reversed?

Yea, I thought it was pretty gross for a 15yr old girl to be with a 13 yr old boy as well.... Not as creepy the other way around for some reason.

first of all...thats disgusting and sad to say the least.

When were these parents planning on teaching their kids about sex and consequences. Parents cant turn the other cheek and pretend that they have plenty of time to talk to their kids about it. Kids are getting exposed to it younger and younger now. My mom talked to me when i was around 12.

you cant stop a kid from doing what they plan to do...the best thing to do is make sure they know about a little thing called PROTECTION.

A coworkers daughter went into labor yesterday - she is 15 yrs old. good grief.

oh this story is very true!......and when they were interviewed and asked how they were going to support the baby financially they didn't know what financially meant!!!

All the important people (government) have said how shocking this is and more...

And people said i was crazy when i thought we should make everyone sterile at birth and only reverse it when they were ready to have children and applied / went to a doctor. But wouldnt that solve ALL of the worlds unwanted pregnancies??
