Baby weight: how long did it take YOU?
I am just curious, for the moms out there who have had success getting to their postpartum goal weight or close to it...how long did it take?
I delivered 4 weeks ago today. I was a good weight when I started and then packed on 60 pounds. In the first 2 weeks I seriously lost 30 pounds and since then the scale will not budge. I am exclusively breastfeeding, FYI.
Stats: 5'6" / pre-preg: 137 lbs. / weight at delivery 197 lbs./ current weight: 166 lbs.
I'd lost all my baby weight before my daughters 1st Birthday! Yay. She's three years old now and I'm still maintaining. ( I haven't calorie counted in over three years either.) So... It's doable!

My weight loss is starting to kick in. I've lost about 6 pounds in the last 4 weeks. I'm calorie-counting, cardio blasting 4 days a week and do not eat more than 25g of carbs per day. It is strenuous, difficult, and tedious; but I have flipped the "switch" on my weight loss and I can already see results! I have not done my measurements yet- I'm going to wait another month to do that, but I can see a big difference already. My goal is to lose 7-10 more pounds by her first birthday and I will be at the same weight I was when I was 8 weeks into my pregancy. Then I'll shoot to be at a lower number; but I'll be happy with 125ish. I'm 136 as of this morning. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY
It's taking me freaking forever too! I just got back into the gym doing spinning at least twice a week. I'm trying to work in weights too but it's hard when you have a new baby!! AAAARRRGGHHH!!!! I just want my body back. I may get a tummy tuck next year because I have this feeling that I will not be able to completely lose this ugly gut!
I went from 9st pre preg up to 11st at full term. I naturally lost the majority of the weight within 4 months but still have 9lbs to shift to get back to my pre pregnancy weight (6 months on)
Though i must say i havent really been dieting or doing much exercise
