I didn't realize this show was still on lol I watched the first couple seasons
What was the big shock at the end? I've only watched one or two past seasons, so I did not follow along with this season at all. However, I kept seeing previews for the finale and the big surprise. What was it?
He didn't pick either girl!!! i couldn't believe it! he sent them both home! i mean i could understand if he wasn't ready to propose, but to send both of em home seemed pretty extreme. guess he's picky!
Ha! Honestly, I don't see how any of the bachelor's could be ready to propose to any of the girls. Do they really get to spend that much time with them? Especially in the beginning when they go on all those individual dates and there are tons of girls he has to pick through. My husband and I just don't get it, but we dated for 3 years before he proposed. LOL!
I'm wondering if the producers of the show told him that he had to propose or else say goodbye. In the past Bachelors shows, the guy doesn't propose but gives a 'promise' or some silly thing. Did Bob Guiney give a ring a woman that she wore around her neck? Didn't Charlie say he needed more time and dated both women off camera? I think maybe the show told Brad to get engaged or to say goodbye.
Tonight is After the Final Rose and both ladies and Brad will be there. I saw previews. It should be a good one!

you could be right abby! he seemed so heartbroken to send deanna home, maybe that's why! i know the show is corny, and i don't think it's possible to fall in real love with anyone that fast, but i felt so bad for both the girls!
i don't get why he couldn't have just given her a "promise ring" or something. maybe the producers DID have something to do with it. guess we'll find out tonight! i can't wait!

Oooooohhh. DITTO! Wild horses couldn't DRAG me away from the tv tonight to tune-in and find out!! I am addicted to the show. .......my poor boyfriend.......I even got HIM into the show, though we won't tell anyone he knows that, so he can save-face (mr manly cop that he is. How cute).
wow, so basically, he just didn't fall for either of them!! i'm starting to think he's a little bit odd, and maybe they dodged a bullet! but poor DeAnna, i really don't think she felt any better about it then when she walked in there! i think she really thought he was gonna be like "ohh, i'm still in love with you let's run off together!" but, he definitely didn't.
and that was so sad about Jenni's grandma :(

I think the point he was trying to make was that he would have felt odd choosing one over the other. He said a few times that when he was with Deanna he was thinking of Jenny and when he was with Jenny he was thinking of Deanna. Imagine if he picked Deanna and then felt so guilty because he couldn't get Jenny out of his mind.
I really think he believes he took the high road but he should have stopped telling Deanna that he couldn't stop thinking about her and then at the end of the show, he didn't need to whisper that he was going to miss her. That was, however unintentionally, cruel.
