Well, I actually was one of the founding members of this group.....and then I backslid for a year-oh well! I am back now after gaining almost 50 pounds of the 140 I originally lost here on CC. I am feeling strong so far, and am looking forward to becoming more active on the posting here to keep myself accountable. I hope that there are other people who will join me on this adventure. I plan to check in daily, and maybe even start a few topics.
So, here's to starting over....and being successful.
Well...I can contribute my knowledge of working out. I just need help with not going back for seconds, thirds...heck the rest of what my family didn't eat at our meals! :-P I find that my binge eating has just gotten WAY out of control. I'm ready to lose my 20 lbs that I gained back after reaching my goal the last time I made myself accountable. So far, I think I'm off to a good start. Yesterday I had a deficit of 600. Today I seem to be doing good as well! :-) In fact...I think I'm going to go for a walk right now! :-)
Glad to hear it K-Loo! I also enjoy working out, in fact I just finished my four days at the gym and took a 2 mile walk this morning just for mild exercise. I find it reduces my stress and tends to keep me from binging or overeating in general when I am most active.. I think my body craves good food and good care to keep me going in that environment.
Having a great week thus far...down 5 pounds, although I am sure some of that is water retention. Glad to see the needle heading in the other direction for a change! Have a great evening!
I originally got down from 16 st to 11st 7... then put a stone back on and got stuck at 12st 7 for about a year.
I had managed to get down to 11st 10, but then the damn monthlies arrived and I put 6lbs back on (in water) but only lost 2 of them so still stuck at 12 stone (when weighed 3 days ago)
Its very frustrating cos even if I manage to lose the 4lbs in next few weeks,, another 6 is gonna go back on again in october!
