Hi Kae.  Yep, I got the cookies on Friday.  I meant to send you a PM yesterday, but I got busy with wirk and other stuff.

Hopefully, I'll get my cookies mailed out tomorrow.

Sort of wish I was sick again, so I wouldn't have to be at wirk today.

I need a break from work, but have missed so much due to the kids this fall that even if I get the flu I couldn't take it off.  been a bad fall!!!!

I don't have much sick leave, but I have quite a bit of annual leave.  Don't ask me why the gubbamint has different leave categories... it's annoying.  I'm taking off a couple of days after Veterans Day for a very nice long weekend.  And, of course, I'm living for the holidays after that.

The swine flu vaccine argument moved to the lounge! And I didn't even start it! BUAHAHAHA!

Okay I'm oddly hyper this morning.  *scrambles off to get ready for w!rk*

Not sure what to think of the vaccine.  My cousin's son died yesterday in Kansas City from H1N1.  He had been hospitalized for a week on a ventilator.  Even with the new medication the FDA had just passed he wasn't able to win the fight.  He was a healthy 25 year old.  But I don't know if he had the vaccine or not.

did he have underlying med probs? the 3 people who died here in austin this month did. 2 middleaged sisters and a 5yo boy.

Thanks Shnitz.  I really didn't know him.  His mom and I were friends when we were little but as we grew up life got in the way, and she moved to FL.  Hadn't seen Shannon since he was a little boy.
