Ok I went to wisconsin dells for 4 days and I ate like a pig.....I had a stomach ache every night I was there and I think it's because of the way I was eating...I ate pizza, burgers, and not to mention beer!...plus I didnt exercise...sitting in the water with my baby doesnt count for me.......but wish me luck today I am going back on track...it's just so hard and it's so depressing to think about the progress made and only to back slide for four days! I feel like I gained a hundred pounds! Can anyone please give me a little motivation? I feel horrible right now :-(

Don't worry- just get back on track. Everybody slips. The
fact that you feel gross after eating poorly for a few days may be a
good sign- that your food mentality is changing. Four days aren't
going to make a big difference in a large lifestyle change!
Good luck!
Good luck!
I did the same thing on my vacation. Ate and
drank without thinking about loosing any weight. When I stepped on the scale
that Monday I was totally depressed but not surprised with a 6-pound gain. But I
stuck with it and within 5 days I was back to where I was before the vacation.
What surprised me was that I actually lost even more. The extra calories seemed
to boost the metabolism. I had dropped and extra 2 pounds. Smile and think
about the good times. Stick with your schedule eating and any extra you gained
will disappear soon.

I went on my honeymoon and ate(& drank) like a little piggy all week. I gained 8 pounds!! However, I got back on my regular workout & eating schedule & i lost it all in about 2.5 weeks. So--don't worry! You were on vacation & enjoyed yourself. Just get back to your healthy habits now that you are back!
I did the same thing last month. I went to the ocean with my
family and ate WAY too much food, all junk too. I did get a
decent amount of exercise each day but not nearly as much as I usually
do.
Then the following weekend I went with my mom to Pittsburgh to check out a college. And big surprise- I ate too much again.
Between the two trips I gained 6lbs. But I didn't beat myself up too much because in eating all that food I satified all my cravings for chocolate, burgers, ice cream ect. That way when I returned to normal life I did'nt feel the need to cheat since I had already indulged all I wanted.
It took me about 2 weeks to get back to my weight before the vacation and I have no regrets.
Don't be discouraged. You just have to get back on track and the weight will come off.
Also, I noticed that I lost the weight more rapidly then before my binge fests. Al that food must have been a good kick to my metabolism.
Ok enough rambling...
