Just started back with a gym, and all those large well lit mirrors, and noticed again - after a many year lag of not working out - I've got 'back fat', especially around the mid-section that bothers me.
Any tips on exercise moves? I know 'old women' have this, but I've always seemed to notice from behind I look 'older', with a flat rear and back fat. Over the last several weeks I've toned my stomach considerably and am trying to work several side sit-up type moves, but this roll is gross looking.
cardio cardio cardio
perferably interval work and HIIT
abdominal moves will only firm the muscles under the "fat", they won't take the extra flab off
also if your diet isn't clean, and free of refined carbs and excess sugar... you're guarenteed to store fat around your middle
Hierarchy of Fat Loss. Cardio is good for cardiovascular training. HIIT works too.
Your diet will be the deciding factor in fat loss.

I'm guessing HIIT is High Intensity Interval Training? If not, clue me in.
Thanks for the replies!

You got it.
There is no way to spot reduce - the only way to get rid of fat from one area is to get rid of fat all over.
Your bra might be too loose. Try a smaller band size and make sure it is snug enough not to ride up.
Oh, I wish it were my bra! It's about 8 inches lower of a roll though. I just measured and bought new sports-bras.
Thanks.
