Even though you've been critical - and rightly so - you still have been a friend. A person who doesn't care would not say anything. A person who is a true friend is the one that tells us the truth about ourselves, even when we don't like hearing it.

I feel like I am speaking as a canadian or something tonight lol I agree and this is the first step at redeeming ourselves and taking back the respect we have lost around the world!
Some may say I'm unamerican, and that's ok... I was. I was ashamed and embaressed to be connected in any way to the nonsense that has went on. America came through, the REALLLL America!!! So suck it Palin! The real America has spoken!

I was only embarrassed by some of my fellow countrymen.
