'Ullo. I already recognize a few names on here...

Last winter, I started an account as skinnysomeday. I dunno if anyone will remember me... probably not.

Basically, I started out well using this program. But I wanted to lose weight faster and faster... starving and purging was just too strong of a temptation for me. Within a month, I lost 20 pounds... and kept going down. I was making myself physically and mentally ill. My mother snuck a peek into one of my diaries and read my thoughts on suicide and my obsession with weight, and nearly had me sent to a clinic or something. She made sure I ate... all the time. I ended up going to the other extreme, and binged several days a week for months all through the spring.

I'm finally back to thinking about this stuff in a healthy light. I plan on doing things the right way this time. I gained all the weight back and then some, and I really do want to lose it. I'm willing to take my time, though. Rushing things doesn't work, anyway.

 

Yes, I know I'm a high school-age girl, and this website is meant for adults, blah blah blah, etc. You don't have to give me that... I heard it enough already. This site happens to give me motivation to eat something without eating everything in sight, though. Healthy is possible sort of thing, mkay? So if you'll suffer another immature teenager, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Welcome back!

I'm glad your mom intervened.  :)

If you can master a healthy approach to food and exercise now, that will be one MAJOR thing that won't suck up all your energy later on.

Have you been learning to cook?  Would your mom teach you?
