Hello!

Lynn here, and I would like to get a new group started.. I've already started a group back in August, and a lot of us has lost touch. A few of us is still around, but I am looking for a group of people who is ready and willing to challenge there will power.

I know most of us are here to lose weight, and many of us can't get fitness in.. So portion control is the main key in this group. Many of us can't get on board with exercise due to heavy work loads, and personal medical problems.

I would like to reach out to those who is trying to gain control of there eating habits and fitness levels. If you can't do the fitness program.. I'm here to say. It's okay. Just join in, and eat well and do your all time best. It's not all about exercise.. It's also about eating right, and you don't have to sweat like hell to get a few pounds moving either.. We all have learn that from watching this season biggest loser. For those of you who don't know.. A woman on the show had to sit out and not workout until she got the okay from the doctor.. And she did lose weight.. Just by eating healthy alone.

Anyway! My tips are plan and simple, and each one of us can do them.. It's simple.. We will get into the fitness part of this later on.. But as of now... Here is what you do..

Post your name, weight, and how many pounds you wish to lose in 60 days.

Now then, every Sunday night.. I will post fitness minutes for the week. You don't have to hit them on the mark, and you can over do these minutes.. You don't have to stay in range with me at all.. If you can do more.. Go for it. I know I would if I have the room to do more.

In these fitness minutes.. You will have a set of minutes for weights, resistance training, or strenght training. You will also have carido minutes.. You will have enough time for days off.. I might even toss a push ups, squats, jumping jacks, lunges, leg raises, jump rope or crunches in the mix. These will be extra adds to see how fit you are, and how many you can do.. Just to challenge yourself to do more. I'm a back slider and I am trying to get back on track...  And I am willing to reach down and give a helping hand to those who needs the extra support and push.. I know I need it..

I will be happy to have any of you on board with me..

Hello all,

I am so glad to see the weigh n reports. How is everything going?

 Cricket, just take your time on the weight report. I Know you are going to get new batts sooner or later.

Is everyone ready. I am so ready. I feel great. I know I'm going to hit it this week. By friday, I know my weight is going to change. Water weight gain due to the- TOM. Hey, I am focus and nothing is going to stop me. I have so much to do. I normally start the first of the week off with cardio, and no weight training to get myself warmed up, but I'm going to get a good mix program in. Cardio, and weight training. I am so ready to do it. We got pounds to knock off this week, and I wish each and every one of you the best of luck. Put your best foot forward, and go for what you know.

Just got back in from my 30 min, 4.07 mile walk. I feel great. I am going into the gym in 2 hours to weight train. I'm after 2 pounds this week, and I am going to get it.

Is it too late to join? I've been off track the last few months and gained 8 lbs back. I've not been on the boards for almost 6 months. This is defiantly the challenge for me.

Thanks for the welcome :)   I'm sure you'll lose those 2lbs this week lynn.  Persistence! 

Yesterday I weighed in at 163.4.  Today it's 163.  I WILL get and stay under 163 lbs - it's been two months of bouncing between 163 & 164.

CW: Nov/2/09 - 163.0 lbs
Fitness Mins: Spent 1 hr. playing Wii Fit Plus & 15 min. on the Elliptical
Focus: Break the 163lb plateau!
Goal: 159 lbs = healthy bmi

What is everyone's plan for staying on track during the Holidays?  So far I've decided that during Thanksgiving & Xmas dinners and any parties I will eat whatever I want w/no thought for calories, but limit myself to a serving size of whatever it is.  Also no alcohol or other empty liquid calories (eggnog!). 

Start: November 1, 2009 ~ 168.8# = -0/0

Goal: January 4, 2010 ~ 160.0# = -8.8#

Weigh-ins:

November 2 ~ 168.5# = -0.3#

November 9 ~

I managed to get a 40 min brisk walk in yesterday but didn't eat enough. As you know, Lynn, I tend to work through my hunger signals and by the time i'm done wt the articles i don't feel like eating...ugh

It's 11:35 am and haven't had breakfast yet but i'm planning to go and boil 2 eggs and eat something b/c i hear my stomach growl.

My goal is 12 pounds by the new year.  I've gotten off track the last couple of months and I know the challenges kept me going, so here goes!!

Focus: 1 lbs this week.

Here's what's going on so far:  I have been in a feeding frenzy for 2 days. I am not eating junk (no chips, candy, or other forms of empty calories), but I cannot stop eating. I have eaten boiled eggs, lentil soup (without meat), toast, chicken, vegs, and apples. It seems like every time I turn around, I am eating. My fluid intake is good, so I should be full, but I have not been. Hopefully today will be better.

Sunday stats:  33 min elliptical, 10 min abs, 25 min weights

Monday: took the day off because of school

Today I worked out early (0600-0730). I feel a little more in control. I am hungry right now, but not starving. Will shower and get ready for the day and then eat. Have had no calorie deficit so far. I WILL make today a better day.

J mom, keep on pushing you are doing great. You starting off right.

Day one of my "back on track" plan went ok. I had 1509 calories. I would like to do better around 1300 per day. I fell into the Halloween candy trap last night and ended up eating two tootsie pop suckers. So my goal today is to stay out of my kids candy.

Thanks for the welcome Lynn. I hope so badly that I can have a deficit and some weight loss this week. I need to get to the gym as well.

U welcome, if you can't make it to the gym. Make a few laps around your house.. Out side of the house, or beat the pavement for a good 30 min walk. Brisk walk if you an handle it. We don't always need to go into the gym for a good workout. Just work your home. Get some good DVD's and set your mind to it. I've tossed the mop, and started to clean the floors by hand today. Today was my off day for working out, but I am going to toss a few min of exercise in anyway.. Must do it. I need to train for the best body and health ever..

Starting weight:  Nov 3----187.4

Goal weight:  Dec 30th-----177

I'll weigh in again on Monday.  Ya know, exercise for me isn't always possible.  I just try to move about as much as I can.
