Back-Up Measures

This has a few meanings for me.

First it is having the support from friends or family or co-workers or whomever you need to accomplish difficult tasks such as losing weight.  Be honest and open with someone, the effects will surprise you.

Second is to have a second choice.  We can't eat the tub of ice cream or peanut butter or have our favorite delectable whenever we want to.  That is one of the things that keeps us unhealthy.  Have a backup alternative, be creative, ask for and share ideas.

Third is to have another plan.  If want you are doing isn't working for you, even if its working for ten other people, try something different.  Every body reacts differently so listen, really listen to yours.  If you can't understand what it's trying to tell you (like me) get help.  If you keep an open mind and listen to others they will return in kind. 

I know this kind of sounds like an excerpt from a self help book but its what I have learned so I am passing it along.  I hope that all of you "Cheaters" are being good to yourselves, respecting your body's needs and staying positive about weight loss.
