just back from the USA

i know most on this site are from the USA so i just wanted to say i have just come back from a 2 week vacation there and had the most amazing time.

We were based in pittsburgh with family who live there and it was wonderful.

We had a very hot first week and a cooler second week,but you have a beautiful county and lovely people.

The children we dealt with were very well mannered and polite,and they are a credit to you.

 i loved your malls and the price of the pound against the dollar meant we came home with some real bargains.

Just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful stay in your lovely country

So glad you had a nice trip. You definitely got some nice weather, it is unseasonably warm lately. Did you go anywhere else besides Pittsburgh?

no we stayed in pittsburgh but did go to the delmont apple festival and fort legionnaire day this weekend(know that is not how you spell it)

also Kennywood they had a special birthday for at he magee hospital and also the fright night which was really good.

Now trying to get over the jet lag,5 hours behind the uk back to work tomorrow and so pleased only put on 2.25lb

Aw, I'm so glad you had a nice time.  And Pittsburgh has some great historical sights for our great ole' USA. 

Talk about beautiful, my family I spent four years in Northern England (Ripon). The countryside is beautiful. Many of my friends were farmers in the area. Good people.

Shoot, it's really nice to hear something nice about us/US.  We're pretty controversial you know.  Someday I hope to visit your fine country as well.  The sooner the better!

I love visiting the UK, so the feeling is mutual! Last time I came was 2 years ago to go to the Glastonbury Music Festival. It was absolutely breathtaking.

How nice of you to say this and glad it was a great visit.  Weather wise this is a beautiful time to visit.
