Well hello Miss Jennifer!

How are you doing today? I had a bad night last night. (Trying to buy a house, my annoying 18 year old brother is living with me and won't get off his lazy butt and get a job and get out, work stuff, you name it!) So.. needless to say, I went over my calorie allowance last night. However, I still had a deficit (a tiny one, lol) and I didn't log my workout, so I think it'll be ok!!

Here are my stats:

Age: 27

Height: 5'3"

Heaviest weight: 201

Current Weight: 200.2

Goal Weight: 160, then 140, then maybe 125... Maybe...   :)

I would like to join your group!  You guys sound like you are a lot of fun.  I started counting calories last year and lost 30 pounds.  I then proceeded to fall off the wagon and gained it all back!  I started counting a week ago, so I have lost a little. Yay!

My stats are:

Age: 40

Height: 5'3"

Heaviest weight: 210

Current weight: 190

Goal weight: 150 and then on to 135 or 130....

okay, well, i'd love to join too.

i have counted calories before, but never with any long-term success. i tend to get derailed because i feel like i am either "cured" and can eat whatever i want or i have had something health-wise set me back, like high blood pressure or panic attacks. but i feel ready to start my couch potato to 5k plan again. and maybe reach my goal of 175 before easter of next year.

currently i am 206 pounds. looking to be 190 again, then 180 and eventually 160. i'm 5'6, 33 and have been 300 pounds at my heaviest, 179 at my lowest weight.

happy to be here! kelly-

 Here's my stats:

Age: 24

Heaviest weight: 250 (YEARS ago. Before I had a job.)

Nice to meet all of you!  I don't know how long we do this for or if I'm supposed to keep track of things or not??  Give me suggestions if you  know.

Veggiedoodle - I didn't walk today :(  I caught a cold yesterday that hit me like a ton of bricks and it always goes to my chest and I get Bronchitis... I walked Mon - Wed .. went home last night and took tylenol pm and nyquil and passed out at 6pm! haha  I feel better today but coughing a lot.. I'm going to make myself walk tomorrow for sure.. after I weigh myself. JUST DO IT! As another poster said... :)

ktd - congrats on your first forum post!!!! :D Hope you keep coming back.

paperballet - lol I know what you mean by the 'I'm cured' phase... you don't even realize your portions are getting bigger and bigger and your sneaking bites and licks everywhere.. sigh

sdmerrile / newave - Good luck! That's a good idea about the club huh? Maybe I should have posted this there? Can I move this link to a club forum? :o

Ok, see ya tomorrow!

Me too, me too! I'would love to join.  I have been with CC since March '08 and it seems to be working fine, but the more support the better right?

age: 33

height: 5'10"

heaviest weight: 206lbs

current weight: 185lbs

goal weight: 155lbs

I like to involve my family in alot of my calorie burning but after 16 years of parenting I decided to invest in some "me time" and found a great trainer.  So far so good, I think I'm a happier mommy.

tty all soon!

Count me in! Maybe having a weigh in day with a bunch of people will help me stay off the scale everyday.

Age: 31

Height 5'3"

Heaviest Weight:162

Current Weight: 160

Goal Weight:135

When I get to 135 and stay there for a month or get lower I'm allowing myself my dream car..the 2009 Ford Mustang Coupe

Hi everyone.  First I'd like to know if Kalipzo will buy me a 2009 Ford Mustang Coupe when I reach my goal weight!  LOL!

I think most of you are similar in age and goal weights to me.  I am:

Age:  40

Height:  5'6"

Starting Weight:  226

Current Weight:  189

Goal Weight:  180

Okay, so when I started in May I thought 180 pounds would be perfect, and also because it was 46 pounds and anything more than that was way too depressing.  So now I am closing in on my goal weight and need to reevaluate it.

My doctor pulled out her handy dandy chart and told me my ideal weight should be 129.  Well I laughed out loud.  With my frame I would look terrible at 129.  I'm thinking somewhere around 150 or 155.  That would put me in a size 8 or so.

What do you guys think?

tciherr we weigh the same, are the same age, but you are 3 inches taller than me!  At your height, 150 would probably be just fine.  I am so short, I need to lose more weight, boo hoo.

That Ford Mustang sure would be nice!

haha, oh how I wish I could just go buy Mustangs for all but alas I really can't afford the one I will buy, lol. I figure I'm already making a car payment though and when I hit my goal I will trade that car in that I have and give myself a well deserved reward! Can't wait!

OK, going to get it right this time...me and my buddy!! Jennifer

Here are my Stats:

Age 47

Heights 5'10

Heaviest weight 277

Goal wieght 180

After that we will see where I go, Long as I can get into my normal pants I'm happy! Good luck everyone thanks for the encouraging words, will weigh on friday with Jennifer...whew! where is the time going!

Well, so far it seems I'm the only guy.. and the youngest! I think I'm in trouble! LOL

Jennifer, you should see if we can make a group thingy out of this! That'd be nifty if it works. If you do that, we could all stay in contact a bit easier. Post it here if you can make the group so it'll be easier.

Good morning!  Hubby woke me up early and before I could even think about the scale I drank half a huge cup of iced coffee...lovely.  And do you know what the scale says...3 lbs lost which is, I guess, a healthy weight loss for two weeks?!  HOWEVER.  I'm still tredging forward.  Next Friday it will be even more lost and that's the only way to look at it.

My stats:

Age:  31

Height: 5' 5"

Heaviest weight:  163

Current weight:  137

Goal weight:  120

Jennifer, your story about your dog was hilarious!  Sometimes I wonder what they would say if they could with all they see.

tciherr, Doctor also told my husband that at 5' 10" and a half he should be at 170 which was what he weighed in high school when he was trying to make weight for wrestling.  There's no way he could maintain that weight.  He's currently 216 and is looking to get down to 190.

Kalipzo, I'm going to get a nice pair of cowgirl boots, which ten years ago would've made me puke to hear.  But they're more for funtion now.  My daughter has a pair and they're her favorite shoes.

Good luck everyone!  I'm excited to hear all of your success stories!

Wow, that's great calijodouble!

I started counting again last week and I weighed 194.  This week I am down to 189.  4lbs lost and I am glad!  It's been tough giving up that Sweet Tea again, but it is worth it.  I don't have a problem losing weight, the problem is sticking to the program and not falling off the wagon!

Today I am going to go for a nice long walk, and maybe you guys can hold me to it.  I always have good intentions but I usually don't follow thru.

Good Luck everyone!

Congrats sdmerrill and calijodouble!!!!

I lost 5 lbs!!!!   I know I won't lose as must later but got lucky since this was my first week.

Started: 258.4

Current 253.4

Keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of you!!!

Newave - I t hink you ARE in trouble! Being the only guy AND the youngest! haha

Ok.. I made a group if anyone wants to post there stuff there or here or whatever..  Called Back on the Wagon.

http://caloriecount.about.com/back-wagon-g360

I'm confused.  I thought this was the group?.

Well, they both are....

But that way, we can be one big click! Ha hA! horrible pun....

I'll reply here and there just in case. :P

last 203

current 202.5  hooray for .5 digital scales !

Confusion gone!  Anyone who's following this thread I would encourage to join the group.  It seems like it will be easier than going back and forth.  If you haven't switched over to calorie-count plus yet, I would also encourage this.  I was stubbornly resisting for the longest time but had to in order to join the group and it's actually really cool, but I guess there's no option not to switch come October 1st anyway.

I want to join in the fun!  Ha.  Lets see here I was on calorie count about a year ago, lost 30 pounds, fell off the wagon, gained 50 and feel terrible.  I am back on the wagon and hopefully for good!

Stats:

Female; 23 years old; 5'2

Heaviest Weight: 260

Current Weight: 245

Goals: 200, 170, 150, 130...Hopefully 120...We'll See

I would love some weight loss buddies, anyone around the same weight and goals feel free to message me.
