LOCKED TOPIC

Back on Z

Wow, so easy to get away from being focused. I can see how some of your previous posts are so annoyed with me. I can also see that losing weight is as much physcological as it is physically.

I see it doesn't take much to start feeling good, and then all of a sudden revert back to some of the old habits.

Well all you go ahead and laugh, I wasn't immune either.

But i have recommitted myself to losing, and the Z diet. Thank God I didn't gain much.

*THIS POST HAS BEEN BLOCKED*
just curious.....how many calories were you eating when you went off of the Z diet?
{sigh}
What the hell is the "Z-diet!" I wanna know!
what poohb said...
A glimpse of things to come when you finally go off the diet my friend.
It's a starvation diet, lilbory, created by a dentist, not subjected to research, unsafe until proven otherwise, and apparently, from Dodgeman's post, going off of it makes it easy to put weight back on, as with other starvation diets. Folks lose weight on it, but guess what? They go into starvation mode. Everyone who has posted about being on it would have had just about the same success with following the recommendations of this site, given the weight loss success CCers have had, and wouldn't have damaged their metabolisms along the way.
it's a diet that only has you eating like 600 calories a day, which is very dangerous. we all know that. I was wondering how many calories he was eating when he went off the diet because like bigtwinky said, the weight is just going to come back when he starts eating again.
oh, lilbory, don't fall into the trap

do a search on old forums if you must but let this die
I am not planning to come off the diet, as I said before i am hoping that this is a lifestyle change for me. I have made a committment to eating better.

My problem was that we had a super sale at work whicch took all my time and energy. I also met a lady firend so I had been eating out alot.

Things have settled down now so back to it.

I was at 750 calories +/- 50, I was maintaining that level because i was continueing to lose.

I figure that i was up around 2000 which seems to be a level that i can maintain my weight

the z diet is www.hbhop.com
I did! I can't find it! I went to the website and it didn't say much, just that the guy lost like 50 lbs in 8 weeks, wich is ridiculous, I'm just curious as to how he did it. Not because I wanna try because I'm positive it's unhealthy, but the curiousity is killing me!
I'm sorry everyone.....I'll let it die too. I thought maybe there was hope to make him realize it's dangerous, but.....oh well....
Dawn, if you have that power...then would you also use your mutant abilities to get the US out of Iraq, make healthcare free, and make all gummies have 0 calories?  Cause that would be sweet.  I mean...as long as you're working miracles and everything ;)
dawn, has anyone ever told you that you look like Lana from Smallville, well, you do! Lucky girl!
Ohhhhh I wish!!!! ;O) Gummies with 0 calories! mmmmm.......How about M&M's??!! I wish I could do everything else too.....
LOL! yes! someone here on this site....can't remember who now....
If anyone is interested in a group of people who are doing "radical calorie restriction" as a way of life that promotes better health, check out this post

The link to the article in New York magazine (Oct. 30, 2006) provides a lot more detail (and evidence) than has been shared through discussions on Z in the forums here.
Yes, Dawn - exactly like her!  I thought that too when I saw your pics.  I even thought maybe it was just pics of her, the way some people like to post pics of famous pple they like.
