How bad is Chili's Chicken Tenders?
Over the weekend, I ate the chicken tenders and french fries at a local Chili's, and I had the chips and salsa before the meal started too. However, thats the only meal I had of the day? I had about 4 slices of pizza Sunday, and a little portion of lasagna. How bad is all of this? Granted, I have lost over 60 pounds and so I have maintained weight now, I just didnt know how long it takes to acquire weight back? Will a few days hurt? or does it makes weeks and months?
Chili's provides nutritional information on their website, as do most pizza chains. I would check it out. Chances are you can't have done much damage in one weekend as long as you get back to good habits
I guess the question is also...can one weekend do alot? or is it bad food habits and lack of activity for an extended period of time?
You can do a lot in one weekend but the weigh gain will come off afterwards. It is also bad food habits plus lack of activity for an extend period of time that can cause you to gain. Just think: moderation and weigh gain = more calories in - calories out so just keep it balanced. PS, do give yourself some leeway as far as weight goes.
Good job on your loss and good luck maintaining!
One cool thing is that Calorie Count has a lot of restaurant food listed if you search for it. I searched for Chicken Crispers (I believe that's the meal you're describing) and it is 1880 calories, 130 g fat. So you could do a fair bit of damage from eating at Chili's, but a lot of it is likely to be water (because it also has over 3000 mg of sodium). I would say keep stuff like that to occasional treats and maybe wait a few days to weigh yourself, because you will probably see a big jump on the scale.
