bad form with the latest changes to mobile.

Foul I say, foul! 

I can no longer goto caloriecount.about.com on my mobile phone b/c someone decided it should redirect to the mobile site... not cool... b/c the mobile site is terrible, its why I don't use the app even though I've installed it.  If I can't use it to log my food, there's no point in having it...

Please, kill the redirect, people can find mobile if they want it.. those of us with fully functional cell phones with legit web browsers and 3g/wifi access would like our functionality back.

Hi bohdan - apologies for the difficulties.  Could you let us know what device and mobile browser you are using?

Also, do you have a link in the footer of the mobile site to return to the regular site (look for "full site").

using a blackberry 8120. tried with both browser options that come with the phone, no love.  No footer with a link to full site either.

I too am HEARTBROKEN that i cant get to the Calorie Count site from my Blackberry Curve anymore. I usually enter most of my food from my phone and now it redirects to the mobile site where you can only get the food info but not enter it into the log. SAD DAY! Please say you are changing it back! I have even gone to my browser and typed the web address in and it still redirects :(

Same with me and it was just this weekend that I couldn't get to the full site like I could before.  Blackberry 8800 with IE.

I've got a blackberry curve.  I have to use the opera browser instead of IE and then I get the full site, except I don't think I can post journal entries.

Apologies for the difficulties.  We are working on fixing the mobile site to ensure it will always show a link back to the regular site, on the footer of all pages.  I will keep you all updated as we get this resolved.  Thanks!

I am using a Samsung Instinct - same problem! Mine started July 10th.

Hi All - we have fixed the mobile site and you should all now be seeing a link at the bottom of each mobile page to go back to the full site.  The link is called "View full site" and is at bottom to the right of the "Home" and "Privacy Policy" links.

I have an IPhone, and I would still prefer that the full address (caloriecount.about.com) go to the full site by default.  Everytime I go back to my browser and the browser reloads the page, it switches me back to the mobile site and I have to waste time getting back to the page I was on.
