Bad Day
I ate 1500 cals over my daily goal today!!!
I know its just one day and it won't destroy all of my success but it seems like I am loosing focus more and more. Going over my daily goal seems to be happening more frequently (thought usually less then 500 cal over) and its getting 'harder' to make myself exercise and, and, and........
I'm just not quite sure whats going on.
I'm blaming it on the time change and it getting dark so early but I am not really sure.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I have hit the same slump! It is getting cold outside and I am becoming less motivated. But tommorrow is another day to make it right. Eat right tommorrow!
when a thing is done, you move forward. Don't be upset or mad at yourself, just make the best decision you can the next time.
"Lesson repeated until learned".
A healthy lifestyle does not just appear fully formed from your initial decision. It is a work in progress, a lifetime journey with side trips.
If you can, get up and walk around now - even if it's just inside the house because of the cold. Or do some hand weights or a few stretches. That would be a healthy decision and you could end the day on an up note!
Thanks everyone, after I posted I made myself get up and go to my ballet class that I was originally planning on skipping. It made me feel better and now I only went 1300 over. :-)
Tomorrow is a new day.
Everyone goes through those days. I read the blog on different types of eaters.... And It made me realize that if I make a bad choice in one food, it doesnt warrent another bad choice that day. Just because you fell a little on your climb .... dont intentillay jump farther down just because you slip!
Ballet class sounds fun! What a way to work off pounds!
jes
yay good that you worked out ! try to eat 300 under tomorrow to balance it out. i have been eating more raw foods ( in smoothie form) and it surprises me how filling AND low calories they are. try green smoothies maybe, it is hard to go over on raw foods.
