I had a whole bunch of publix popcorn today--not on my regular eating schedule!  Then, I had chik fil a nuggets for lunch.  Now, I feel very defeated.

I'm having a hard time losing weight, and this bad day has just set me back incredibly.  I just needed to vent.

I ordered Jillian Michaels' "30 Day Shred" excercise DVD--it should be here next week.  I have not had the energy to excercise yet.  When do you get energy?????

You'd be super human if you didn't have a bad day, or multiple bad days. It happens. I guess you just have to try and not make a habit of it.

I'm by no means a nutritionist but maybe you could try low-fat popcorn instead of the publix next time. Those 100 calorie packs really help out when I'm needing a nice snack.

I'm not sure what you can do about having more energy, that's a tough one. Just don't feel defeated for having a bad day. Get right back on the horse and have a better day tomorrow. I know it is so much more boring to be good with what you eat but in the long run you'll be so very happy you did.

After a bad day like that, I just tell myself that I can't get any bigger than I am at this moment in time and continue working toward my goal.

Everyone has bad days when it comes to eating right. Don't beat yourself up.

Hey ddparker - In regards to your question "when do you get energy??"  For me any way, I find I have much more energy if I have exercise as part of my daily routine.  It's almost like a snow ball effect if your not active.  If you can find 30 minutes a day to work out even if its just  a walk you will find you will sleep better, eat better and have much more energy during the day.  Its a matter of mind set, good habit and routine to find time and exercise every day in any way.

While the popcorn might not have been the best idea, its also not the worst snack you could have had.  And, the nuggets from chick-fil-a really aren't that bad for you (calorie wise).  An 8 pack only has 260 calories.  That's a pretty small lunch!

Just trying to help you put it in perspective.  We're all human and no one is perfect.  Hope that made you feel a little better :)

thank you all for your encouragement--I did lose 2.5lbs so, I guess I didn't mess myself up too bad!
