I have recently started taking Microgynon 30 a contraceptive pill. I have been taking this pill for three days and Ive been reading up on the terrible reviews people have rated it as online...Not only that but after I take this pill for the last three days ive felt nausea, complete exhaustion and a feeling of being overwelmed/ emotional not only that but Ive had a constant headache that wont shift. I feel like crap! I was wondering if anyone had taken this pill (or any other pill) and witnessed the same symptoms...

Thanks guys.

I have not taken that nor heard of the problems with it (thankfully I am past that age).  However, if you are experiencing problems please give your Doctor a call.

When do you take the pill? Morning or night. I was on tryphasil but had to switch when they discontinued it. I was mad because I had never had any symptoms with that one. They switched me to tryquilar which was supposed to be very similar and made by the same manufacturer. When I switched I was starting to get sick so my doctor told me to take them before bed. This helped for a while but certain packets I got would make me ill anyway so I decided to switch again. I have been on Yasmin for a couple of months and so far so good. I have been on other pills that totally reeked havoc on my emotions. Needless to say I wasn't on them for long.

Go back to your doctor and explain what's happening.   There are lots of different contraceptive pills they can prescribe if you have a reaction to that particular one.

It is extremly common to feel like that for the first 3 months of starting a new pill
