So I had a really crappy day at work today.   Didn't have time to eat snacks, lunch, or drink my water.  Nearly in tears.  Just ordered a pizza and breadsticks.  Going to eat till I'm stuffed.  Screw it.

look at it this way, eat only as much as you normal calorie count for the day is.  then go on as normal tomorrow.  You still have to meet the min requirements for the day Wink

I am sorry to hear about your day at work...I can relate. But this too shall pass, eat your pizza slowly, dabbing the grease on the top, drink a glass of water before dinner and just enjoy the taste of your meal :-) it will be ok if its just once in a while. Hang in their no one said it was easy to loose weight.

I find one day out of the month can be like that.  After I have eaten, I simply walk/exercise a bit more than usual.  For me after having eaten my blood sugar level is back to normal which in itself stabilizes my mood.  A good brisk walk (which I do after every supper) then gets doubled.  This relieves tension and I feel like a million bucks afterwards.  The next day I go back to my regular calorie restrictions.  "Blowing" one day out of the month does not mean we've blown the whole diet.  I have still been loosing quite a bit of weight (gradually).

I've been having two meals a week, never on the same day, where I eat whatever I like and I've still lost weight at a good rate so you should be fine.  Those rewards help keep us on track and not cave in to "bad" cravings ... at least that's my humble opinion : ).

Will I lose weight if I eat the same food over and over?
