The garlic. chicken and basil are optional. I used 1/4 cup becel rsf margarine, but for calorie purposes I wrote it as 1/8 cup here.

Recipe Ingredients for baking powder biscuits

2 cups unbleached flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon dried basil
1/8 cup margarine
2/3 cup milk
70 g chicken
4 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for baking powder biscuits

  1. blend flour, baking powder, salt, and basil

  2. blend in margarine to a crumble

  3. add milk until a satiny dough is formed

  4. knead for 1 minute; pat or roll to 3/4"

  5. cut into squares

  6. bake for 15 minutes at 375 F
