1) how often do you bake?: Not very often, maybe once a month if that

6) what was the worst thing you've ever baked?: I tried to make the HG peanut butter fudge brownies around Christmas time to impress my family with a healthier dessert, and they just turned out awful...funny thing is, the only people who liked them were my youngest cousins (ages 3-6) go figure!

11) do you/why do you like to bake?:  It's hard for me to bake and not over indulge, so usually if I will be doing something with a group like a trip or party I always bake for the occassion

12) where do you store baked goods after you've baked them? (container, freezer, etc):  If it's just for me like my vitamuffins, in the freezer...but everything else in a tupperware

13) do others think you bake well?:  Yes, I've gotten many compliments

11) do you/why do you like to bake?: it is comforting, my food tastes better than restaurant food, my family and friends LOVE it and come over frequently

12) where do you store baked goods after you've baked them? (container, freezer, etc): they usually get eaten so nothing to store, maybe a bag in the refrigerator?  Usually, I let people take the food home.

1) how often do you bake?: not as often as I'd like to, but it depends.

2) where/from who did you learn to bake?: my mom initially, then moreso Food Network. GALE GAND, ANYONE? omg Sweet Dreams was my favorite show, ever. I miss it terribly.

3) what was the first thing you ever baked?: my best friend & I made an Easter cake when we were like 6. It actually turned out insanely well considering the circumstances haha. We decorated it with "eggs" of frosting, etc.

6) what was the worst thing you've ever baked?: haha, well, I've always loved to be in the kitchen & I've been pretty knowledgable, so I haven't ever made anything & was like "wow, that's gross." I mean, I make things for others that I don't like, but it's not because they're bad, it's just because it's not something I like.

9) have you started trying to bake lighter/healhier since joining cc?: yeah. I completely pulled a fast one on my older brother when I made a diet coke cake. He won't go near anything "healthy" & thinks what I'm doing is weird, so I didn't tell him it was made with diet coke & he INHALED his piece(s) & said how good it was hahaha.

11) do you/why do you like to bake?: I like knowing exactly what I'm eating. It also gives me something to do, & of course, fills the house with an AMAZING aroma.


12) where do you store baked goods after you've baked them? (container, freezer, etc): container on the counter. they never make it to the freezer (I have an older brother who has a LOT of friends haha).

1) how often do you bake?: at the moment, about once or twice a month.. but sometimes i bake multiple times a week when i'm really, really fed up

2) where/from who did you learn to bake?: my mum probably used to bake with me when i was younger but i think i mostly figured it out myself from books and tv

3) what was the first thing you ever baked?: on my own, it was rice krispie cakes :) i was soo proud when i could make them, i did it allll the time

6) what was the worst thing you've ever baked?: ive had some disasters in my time.. butt the two worst were probably when i tried to make a fat free sponge cake and it was like eating the foam stuff that they insulate your house with, and also once i tried making a fruit tea loaf with no sugar in from an anti-candida recipe book.. it was soo gross and i literally kept it in the oven for over 4 hours because it just would NOT cook

9) have you started trying to bake lighter/healhier since joining cc?: i've tried and failed as shown above. now i just bake and give it away, or bake half the amount i would before so i can only do half the damage if i end up eating it all..

(adding nuts instead of chocolate chips, making smaller portions, substituting egg whites for whole eggs, etc): nothing i have ever tried has worked! except making smaller portions i suppose.. and not putting icing or buttercream on, and using low cal jelly and stuff..

11) do you/why do you like to bake?: it calms me down when im angry or upset, very therapeutic and also stops be being bored for a few hours. :) and it smells damn good

12) where do you store baked goods after you've baked them? (container, freezer, etc): my banana loaf is currently in the freezer but it's the first time ive frozen anything! normally i give them away, or leave them in a container on the kitchen side and let my family chow down

13) do others think you bake well?: everyone loves my cake but sometimes i make pretty awful shortbread or scones, and then i get told exactly how awful they are

1) how often do you bake?: Used to be twice a week before I came to school since I was a newbie and I thought it was super interesting! As of now, I don't bake at all.

3) what was the first thing you ever baked?: This first thing I ever baked I believe were plain scones.

6) what was the worst thing you've ever baked?: BLECH, original coconut meringue recipe.. it was so bland.. I make it a different way that comes out more moist and coconutty.. it's not really a meringue at all when I make it actually
