Balance exercises?
I have heard that as we age we should work on "balance" exercises to keep our agility and flexibility up. Anyone have any info on this and what type of balance exrcises are there?

Our balance definitely goes as we age. Yoga has lots of great balancing postures that will help you maintain your balance as you age. You can begin by practicing "Tree." Stand on one leg and place the other foot on the inside of your calf or thigh. Stay for as long as you can , gradually lengthening the time you spend on one leg. Don't forget to switch sides. If that's too easy, try Tree with your eyes closed. You can also go out and buy balance boards and exercise balls.
How about ice skating? Lots of fun, too!
