I made this recipe for banana scones and I was THRILLED to make it. I thought it would turn out great and I would have come up with a new snack that I could bake whenever.

I ended up adding too much liquid so the dough was like muffin mix, and it was all sticky and not the right consistency at all. I baked it anyway and they came out hard and tough, and no one would eat them. I ended up throwing away both batches and now am very discouraged. =/

Anyone else ever tried baking something only to end up ruining it?
