Bananas or Mangoes?

What do you prefer?

What do you think is healthier / more nutritional?

They're both pretty high sugar fruits...
I think mango has more fiber (and sugar?)
Bananas have more potassium and their easier to eat, more convenient

But frozen mangoes are quite convenient as well...

hmm how do they compare calorie wise... i guess one mango is probably comparable to one large banana?

I think they are both pretty healthy, but if you have a very active exercise routine, the banana is better after a strenuous workout.

I prefer both.  I love both of them, I'm a tropical fruit girl! <3

mmmm - love them both.  But mangoes for pure taste, bananas for taste+filling.

So, bananas are higher cal, higher carb, higher protein, higher fiber, lower sugar

Mangoes are higher in vitamins though.

looks like iam the only one,  i really dont like mangos,  is much to diffiuilt for me to eat to messy,  and ew the taste and its all stringy,  finally got over my fear of bananas as well, but not sure abou this one,  10 years ago i would have eeaten any fruit but since the ana i will only eat barries, kiwi and apple,  and kiwi freaks me out. and i freak everyone else out cause i eat the skin

 

I like mangos, but bananas are easier to eat, come in their own packaging and are more filling, so I think they are a better mid-day snack.  Mangos are messy, but great when you want dessert.

^^ I used to eat the whole kiwi, skin and all, when I was little.  But in my teens I developed an allergy to them....so sad.

I eat the kiwi skin and all! So much easier to just mow down and eat the whole thing than worry about cutting things up and scooping or trimming off skin! The skin is no worse than peach fuzz! (by the way - has anyone noticed that they are starting to genetically alter peaches to rid the peach fuzz out of peaches? I miss it.)

But back to bananas or mangos - BANANAS all the way. mostly just because I've never been a fan of mangos. bleeeh.

PLUS bananas have an advantage: they go way better with peanut butter (my favourite snack) OR icecream sundaes...!!!

 

Mmm Kiwis, I eat them skin and all also.

I like bananas as pre-race food. Mangos as a desert snack. They are messy thought.
